Bodog isn’t an active player in the regulated US market and, given their pedigree, they don’t seem like a candidate for a Nevada gaming license. But missing out on the US market doesn’t mean they’re not on the cutting edge of the poker market.
While everyone else is looking West, Bodog is looking to the East.
The company’s recent strategy is all about Asian players in Asian countries and abroad. It’s an audacious strategy that could pay out in a major way if gaming liberalization becomes a reality in countries like Vietnam and, of course, China.
