Question For Affiliates

asked 3 years ago
Hi all,

Just a quick question: what is the maximum you would be prepared to pay for a well informed pre-prepared article or review on a casino, a slot, general experiences etc on the assumption:

a) the article was 300 words minimum
b) it would be unique to you
c) you had free editorial reign on the article once you’d bought it.
d) it was text only (English), no images or links in it

Cheers

Now the reason I asked the question was I’ve been toying with the idea of providing a match-up between players and affiliates. Strikes me a number of affiliates need content, players should in theory know their stuff and might tlike the idea of earning some gambling money, so maybe they can help each other. Although the way the poll is panning out, I’m not sure it would be a worthwhile task.

Hi Simmo!
Just to let you know that I’m one of the $0 voters!
The reason for that is obviously I prefer to write all my own stuff – if I ever get the time between jumping from one casino bonus to another!

Question for you: Do you think these reviews actually help you to make conversions?

This is bad poll, there should be options for $5, $10, $20. My vote would go for $20, but since there is no option you are getting bad projections.

People who post “$5” max or “no more than $25” don’t realize the value of excellent content. I spend an average of 6+ HOURS on EACH article I write for any one of my sites – sometimes more.

This ulimately has the following effect: 1) Other people see the quality and detail of information provided in these articles and link to them because they are valuable, unique resources on the subject 2) They ulimately achieve very high rankings in the search engines and 3) They have the effect of making the reader sign up or join whatever affiliate program or offer I am promoting.

I wouldn’t sell one of my articles to any one of you for $500 because they, eventually, earn me a lot more down the line and continue to drive revenue for years. If you can find someone who can accomplish this in 1/2 hour for $25 you have a real talented person there or an absolute sucker.

Just my 2 cents.
