Are you irritated by your emails not being answered by people from the industry?

nice post Renee.

I ONLY work with programs that i have a personal relationship with someone there.

how can you expect to get results with a program for a player if you can’t get someone to contact back?

not chewing ass of affs … or any aff programs….. (not this post anyway) <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

just saying … we have to be able to make contact. otherwise we’re not doing our job.

sometimes there’s a support agent at bottom of the food chain …. who thinks they’re the owner. They don’t take appropriate action to make a player happy. we MUST be able to go over their head .. in order to do our jobs and make sure the casino is kept in good standing.

More times than not … a quality and reputable casino will do whatever it takes to make a quality player happy …. but too seldom .. do they have a VIP list …. or the likes … that says. hey this person has a problem …make them happy!

that’s where a reputable casino portal comes into play and is besides listing reputable casinos …. our most important part of the game. making players happy.

to sum up …. little people can sometimes … ruin things for both the casino and portal owner. …. if we can’t communicate … we can’t make a difference and perhaps save a casino partner … much money for the both of us just because …. of one smart-assed small time customer support agent.

and casinos can’t be expected to police them all to the point that we as affs can lay back and not make ourselves available to quality players to address their issues and get them to people in the casino programs who WILL make sure they are satisfied. But we gotta be able to make contact with our casino partners!

Hey guys

I’d like to add something mildly constructive to the conversation…

There have been times (especially recently) where an affiliate emails and I email them back. I then receive an email 2 days later saying ‘why haven’t you responded to my email. here it is below’ – so I reply again. Another 2 days later I receive an email saying ‘if you don’t reply to my email in the next 2 days i’m removing you from my sites’ – so I email again.
Some ISPs block our emails, and some webmasters have everything that’s not on their whitelist marked as spam.

If this happens I will try to call the number on their account – unfortunately since some affiliates don’t like to be contacted by phone the number will be left blank or will be incorrect…

Obviously some affiliates are members of CAP so it’s easy to contact you, however at times like these when it’s not obvious who the emailer is at CAP or unsure if they are even members at all, this hurts both parties…

I absolutely agree with you guys that it’s damned frustrating not to receive a reply to emails, so I try to respond ASAP to any emails I receive regardless of their importance… In saying that it’s so frustrating when we constantly receive emails saying ‘why didn’t you reply to my email’ when we have responded 10 times already and the contact number isn’t working, all the while you guys are sitting there cursing us because you think we haven’t replied to your email.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, please take the initiative to whitelist aff managers email addresses and make sure your phone number is correct in your profile – I’m sure I’m not the only person this happens to and we don’t ask for your phone number for the sake of having it… It’s just much easier to contact you about something important if we have it.

This really blows my mind. My feeling is spend a tiny bit of the millions these programs make every month and hire a few more $10 an hour girls to help handle the load. I get annoyed when I hear an affiliate manager saying they are overwhelmed. I don’t get annoyed at the actual affiliate manager themselves but rather the programs who are not smart enough to realize this is costing them money by not having great support.

I just can’t believe the kind of money I generate for some of these programs and instead of spending my time bringing money in the door, I have to waste it chasing money down and emailing several times to get a simple answer. It just blows my mind. I have already dropped a few programs because of this and there are a few on the bubble that will be gone soon too if this continues. I get really funny about business, perhaps old fashioned even. I wish some of these programs would realize its not a damn game, its a multi billion dollar industry and demands to be treated like so.

That being said there are some great programs I work with where I never have a problem, and kudos to those programs. You earn top positions because you treat this like a real business. For the other programs, you will never max out on your full potential until you start treating this like a real business. Its a damn shame to have such a great product and have that negated by lousy support. I can’t tell you how many programs are missing the boat on my action because they cant find the time to reply to a simple query I had. Its elementary watson. All I can say is duh.

Sometimes.

I can understand some Affiliates Programs.
Fails in the support is the best way to lose affs.
