allfreechips asked 3 years ago
Seems we should know better but i always gamble, I usually come out ahead though. Its all about cashing out before you hit it BIG

my biggest win was 11K on grand bay ($27 per spin on thunderstruck hit a nice 30 spin bonus round)

I do still play new slots when they come out and generally stick to Grand Bay casino. I make my donation, enjoy a couple hours of play and then go back to work, so cashing out is seldom a problem.

Blackjack here mostly … and I think it is one of my biggest downfalls, since I find myself bored quite easily with other games and can’t force myself to spend any time on them

I hate playing slots, but I have to when I am writing reviews for the games or the casinos and you have to test payout times and such if you are going to be giving any real info to your players on the quality of a casino.

My wife and I spend lots gambling online, actually Casino Grand Bay was are biggest casino we played.

We use to hit them large to every once in a while, never a cash out problem until one day they tried to add a bonus into my account while we were awaiting a nice payout, they did pay me but it left a bad taste so we’ve never played there again.

Now we’ve been tackling Vegas Splendido, overall nice payouts, so far lost just once because of our better lack of judgement.

Your right though we don’t lose often, as soon as we’re up 3 times our deposit we cash out.

Oh yeah, we don’t accept bonuses, hate them!

I gamble online, no slots, just poker. I answered $10-$100 per month, but I really don’t deposit much anymore, just move the cash i deposited here n there.

I never gamble online, except poker with no deposit bonusses. I have no intention to cash out those, I just prefer ‘free real money’ over play money as this will give you slightly better opponents.

When playing poker with friends (now that I live in the campus dorm of the university this happens about 3 times a week), I always put in real money to make the game realistic. BUT only 1 euro or so, I’ve seen some people here coming from “Ok if I really have to put in money, only the 1 euro minimum” to “come on, let’s go to the casino with 100 euro!” in only 2 weeks.

Tonight I go to the horse racing here in Hong Kong and this weekend I plan a trip to the lovely Macau.

Im on the biggest losing streak of my life , can win anywhere ,

I’m gonna write an article about this for my site

How to go from gory to glory

1-Stop, you don’t need the game, the game needs you, take a break and make the game respect you again, re-establish proper order, don’t let the game control you

2-Switch, change your action, if you play poker, go to another poker room and play there for a while

3-Change your mind, have a few drinks, spark one up, put yourself in a more relaxed mood and mindset

4-Take a shower, wash away the bad luck, go for a walk, clear your head

5-Think about how you went off, were you stupid(making bad decisions), or just unlucky, know the reason why it happened

6-Get that winning feeling back, take a drop in class and beat up on soft competition if you play poker, if you bet sports, bet on the biggest favourite you can find, the point is not to make money, but just break the jinx and start winning again

7-Consult me, Mr Nick, before making a move, if all the above fail

It’s important to cut off a bad roll as quickly as possible and start up fresh, losing is in your subconcious, and the more you push a bad roll and lose, the worse it will get, you need to get those thoughts out of your head, because you will reach a point where you just expect something bad to happen everytime, that’s when you know you’ve gone too far, if you reach that point, stop, do not attempt to get your money back with some bold move, the game is not going anywhere, beat the game another day, get fresh and then take your shot.

I like playing poker, but for casinos games… maybe less than $50 for my entire life (the rest was bonuses, some 500%. Just wanted to play, not cash out). Really don’t like the house advantage I leave the games for their lovers :hattip:
