I don’t think that all of the Democrates think this way. Remember, Kentucky is in the “Bible Belt”. Nonetheless, the Governer is looking out for his Far Right constituants. Probably, to boost his electability next year. As for, Fabulos.com as a register. One of the sites they are attempting to Hijack has been registered there. I would wait and see if they get it before making the DNS transfer.

I don’t see a common theme. Perhaps they just Googled for a few terms and this is the list they came up with?

Kentucky fried chicken tastes better than this awful dogfood (shit).

Just a lot of work to change links again for SP’s sites, can we ever get a break?

http://www.gandi.net is a registrar in france that is highly over priced. The system there is confusing but many blackhats use this registrar so they might not care about court orders.

Be careful with Gandi as well. They are pricey, their interface is confusing and they do not offer the protection they use to. I lost of few domains there when I had court ordered issues pertaining to brand infringement earlier this year. Then Gandi tried to take control of other domains I had with them due to reasons that were complete b.s.

So, I would not use Gandi if you are concerned with safe guarding your domains against legal actions.

Yes, I agree.. but still microgaming.com and valueactive.com are both mg and don’t accept bets. But no mention for rtg or other providers.. And I think there are a few “missing” on the list, so the question is more what the criteria were for this list..

Still I find it hard to believe that they can attack affiliates.. This is just one stupid situation..

This just confuses the criteria even more.

Is there some knowledge around background of this “first” domain luckypyramidcasino.com ?
At least for me, it’s one of the smallest domain from that 141 list.
(btw: no google cache, pagerank, alexa…)
Was this domain even live before few weeks, or they just take a expired domain and let’s go propaganda?

If any gambling site operators are reading this list who’s site is on the Kentucky list…. Is there anyway you guys can quickly transfer your domain names to another registrar before the names get seized. This seems like a pretty obvious action. We hope the appropriate actions are taken to protect these sites.

    Weird list indeed.

It seems they took the popular US facing gambling websites and “peppered” them with a few they knew they can take. Domains such as bodoglife and goldencasino are all showing “ok” status.

P.S. When the registrars was talking about “not responding” it meant they will not respond to the request of the judge to hand over the domain. Because fo this, most websites will stay intact.

How funny is that. The two they hace successfully bamboozled are registered with and residing with Enom, inc. Which is located in the gambling friendly state of Washington. Go Figure.

    Kentucky law
Despite being businesses based outside the United States, the online gambling sites’ domain names are vulnerable to U.S. jurisdiction because they are stored with a registrar located in the United States.

Kentucky is also uniquely positioned to bring action against Internet gambling operators because it considers domain names to be forfeitable under its gambling laws.

With the exception of horse race betting and state lotteries, gambling is illegal in Kentucky under KRS Chapter 528. Under that same law, any gambling device or gambling record possessed or used in violation of the law is forfeited to the state.

According to the law, a gambling device could be any machine or mechanical device manufactured primarily for the use in connection with gambling. In a hearing last week, the court found probable cause exists to believe that the domain names were being used in connection with illegal gambling in the state.

Most gambling may be illegal in Kentucky, but Beshear actually campaigned for governor last year on a pledge to push for the legalization of casino gambling in the state. So far he has been unable to convince lawmakers to put a proposed gambling amendment on the ballot to change the laws.

So I get made redundant….get a job I think I can do good with and another bombshell drops!

Reminds me of the time when EUIGA thing hit and everyone sh!t it about travelling to the USA for CAC. Personally I was well excited to hit Vegas once again and thought chuff it its a free trip to Vegas and if I get banged up its a story to tell the kids and I lose my anal cherry!!

All joking aside, glad to see Red Flush is on the list!

I can’t really comment too much on this just yet, we should know more tomorrow where we can figure out what steps need to be taken. Worse case scenario, we lose our domain but we obviously have others that can be used.

I am obviously totally uneducated currently apart from what I have read prior to typing this. I will try and update as and when I can.

I like this job too! :flush:
