Hmmm, I didn’t want to hear that at all.
If it’s true, it’s got to be fixed asap!

Wow — that is not the name I expected (or wanted) to see! Thanks for sharing it, though.
I’m sure Renee or Yaniv will respond to this when they get back in the office next week. It’s Saturday there now, and they may or may not have Monday off as a holiday.
If Rewards is indeed cross promoting without giving affiliates credit, this needs to change ASAP.
It is one thing to cross promote to a player who was not referred by an affiliate. But if the player was referred by an affiliate, the affiliate should always earn from that player, regardless of which casino he plays at. Obviously if multiple affiliates are involved, it is more complicated, but still — once affiliates are involved, at NO time should 100% of the aff-tagged player’s deposits end up in the hands of the casino.
I agree, and I know exactly where you’re coming from. I’m planning to devote several entire sites to their brands. Those plans are now on hold until this is cleared up.
I hope this is a misunderstanding… :tooconfus
what’s to explain , they were caught red handed.Time to take the blinders off people!

I sound like the lone wolf in this thread, although I know I am not…
I would NEVER promote a casino withing a group that cross-promoted without carrying over affiliate tags.
The 400Group cross-promotes and gives me credit.. Brightshare cross-promotes and gives me credit…
Why the hell would I take anything less??? If I work hard to get a player, I don’t want him/her pilfered by the program. That’s insane to even THINK that is ok.
I for fact know that 400G does as way back I saw a subcampaign in my stats that I did not create and when I inquired about it I was told it was from a cross promotion.
It’s quite simple really, when you ask (on anything for that matter) and your answer contains the AM dodge or the AM dance, raise the flags.
August 29, 2008 at 3:14 pm #777206biggygMemberyes i have cross promote stuff in 400 affiliates ,they are good group.
August 29, 2008 at 3:18 pm #777208AnonymousInactiveI knew from the start who it was and i have brought it up in their forum long ago… same answers were given then.
I was also wanting to know what happens when player A that is under the affiliate goes to the casino he is at and views the newsletter a month later.
They list ALL the casinos in the group on left side.
Are they tracked? think not ( assuming player cleared cookies )
.
August 29, 2008 at 3:18 pm #777209AnonymousInactiveI myself have recieved these cd’s
blackjack ballroom – yukon gold – captain cooks and casino classic etc..
Just about every other month. If this has in fact taken place I will remove every link – banner and word for this group. Earning enough just to reach the payment threshold is hard enough, but to take what little is generated from cross promoting is despicable.
Casino Rewards has always in my opinion been one of the trustworthy affiliate programs – I hope this was just a glitch and not a common practice!

Some of you have asked how I am aware that this program is doing what I have described above, well there are many ways to skin a cat.
The way I did it was that I signed up at “Casino A” after seeing downloads but no sign ups on my stats. I deposited funds, received a bonus and played only to eventually lose all. I checked my stats later and my sign-up and deposit was reflected correctly. About ten days later I deposited and played again at the same casino, when I checked my stats they reflected correctly.
A few weeks later I received the CD from “Casino B” offering a good bonus etc, etc. I thought this rather cheeky so using the CD I installed “Casino B” software, signed up with the exact same details as I used for “Casino A” and made a deposit. I played and eventually lost all again. However this sign-up and deposit is not reflected in my stats.
I used the exact same information to sign-up at both casinos as I used when signing up as an affiliate for this program. I am not trying to hide anything. I am also aware that my personal details may have been taken from my affiliate account by “Casino B” in order to send me the marketing material.
That is why I emailed the AM and asked the questions I did. He answered truthfully, as all reading this thread are aware.
I have placed myself in a rather difficult situation as I hate burning peoples arses.
I need to think about this one for a while.
You know you can’t play through your own affiliate account. I played through mine and it was demapped and any earning removed. However, I did see first hand what (imho) a jip wager share is and have slowly been removing the program. However like you I have several pages build around them and really have nothing to replace them with as of yet.
Not to mention I have 300 players earned $39 bucks this month compared to 20 times that amount with Red Returns from just 3 reals off a couple of banners/links since adding them just a few weeks ago.
There is so much more I want to say but I’m biting my tongue.

Biting my tongue that’s a understatement LOL.
If you are running a charity stick with them but if you want to earn REAL money i wouldn’t give them time of day.Considering they take USA players the results posted here are terrible and cross promoting may explain alot.August 29, 2008 at 4:30 pm #777229AnonymousInactive@slotplayer 174345 wrote:

Very true.
The CDs though are clearly an attempt to circumvent the affiliate.
I have mainly loyal people coming back to me to pick another casino. This cuts me right out of the loop.
I love wagershare and I love the CR people, but crosspromoting without aff tags is a biiiiig no-no.
August 29, 2008 at 8:41 pm #777251AnonymousInactiveIt is old news ! Casino Rewards have always crack most affiliates!
Look like they pay some affiliates to please them in posts on formus (also here)
PLEASE TEST THEM!!
Thats the way to find and stop the Magic Tricks they make..
Like cross promotions and uninstalling tricks http://www.casinorewards.com/uninstall.asp

PLEASE TEST THEM AND YOU FIND THINGS YOU DONT LIKE….
August 29, 2008 at 8:45 pm #777252AnonymousInactiveIn business world nothing is fair. Is’t all about making money. I’d like to think most programs do honor affiliate if they moved him to a diferent casino …… but i’m realistic. Put Yourselfs in CEO of a casino operation shoes and try to make a decision.

There was no solid answer as to why they don’t. BTW im not on a CPA deal with themWhen I mentioned I had a chat with an MG group – It was in fact CR.
August 29, 2008 at 9:24 pm #777255AnonymousInactivein the long run honesty is vital. Moves like this makes them more meony left and right but in the long run it does not hold
Especially when there are forums like this in which we can point it out and make others aware.
I review all my sites monthly so i can drop them all in a matter of 30 days as i go through them

I’m pretty sure the answer is obvious.
August 29, 2008 at 9:52 pm #777257e-gamblingcity.comMemberSure looks like but im hoping that they will look into this and rectify FAST.
