Pinnacle Investigated In US and EU

It just keep getting tougher out their for Pinnacle Sports.  Now the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) is set to conduct a “special investigation” into Pinnacle Sports Europe.

Currently there is an investigation going on in New York on the Curacao-licensed operator on 25 people who are directly linked to the online gaming operation.  The case has to do with betting activity in the US and in the boroughs of Queens relating to the domain Pinnaclesports.com for running an illegal sports betting enterprise.

Pinnacle first obtained a betting license from Alderney in May of this year.

AGCC executive director André Wilsenach (pictured) said in a statement: “As there is an association between Pinnacle Sports and Pinnacle Sports Europe Limited, AGCC has today commenced a special investigation into Pinnacle Sports Europe Limited to ensure that the licensee is operating in accordance with approved operating procedures.”

At this point Pinnacle Sports Europe is saying that they just have “an association” with Pinnacle Sports. Either way there will be an investigation by the Alderney Gaming Commission.

Just recently the commission also revoked the license for Full Tilt Poker and was stripped of 3 of their 4 gaming licenses.

Stay tuned for more on Pinnacle Sports and legal proceedings in New York which will effect their Alderney License.
