Betsson shows improved numbers on financials

The numbers are good for Stockholm-based Betsson AB as the European online gambling operator just released it’s interim financial results for the third quarter and is show a 14 percent increase.
The company has acknowledged that the increases in revenue have been mostly due to their sports products.  “The strong growth in activity in Betsson’s sportsbook is proof that investments have been successful,” said Magnus Silfverberg, President and Chief Executive Officer for Betsson.
Looks like the purchase of the Nordic Gaming Group proved to be the right move. Overall, the numbers including turnover from the operator’s sportsbook including all gaming solutions improved by 60.8 percent when compared with the same period last year to SEK2.92 billion ($435.3 million) of which its recently purchased Nordic Gaming Group subsidiary contributed SEK594.8 million ($88.6 million).
There was also notably higher activity on all Betsson’s various gaming brands and in mobile betting.
