DraftKings Pairs with Tulalip Tribe for Washington State Access

DraftKings is partnering with the Tulalip Tribes of Washington to access the Washington State sports betting market. The partnership is based on the construction of a massive DraftKings-branded sportsbook at the Tribe’s casino, but does not include a mobile gaming component.

Under the terms of the partnership, DraftKings will be building retail sportsbook outlets at the Tulalip Resort Casino and Quil Ceda Creek Casino. Both casinos are located roughly 30-minutes north of Washington’s main population center, Seattle.

While plans for the Quil Ceda Creek Casino outlet are still in the planning stage, plans for the Tulalip Resort Casino location are firmed up. The DraftKings Sportsbook at the Tulalip will feature a 50-foot video, more than two dozen self-serve kiosks and eight ticket windows.

Teri Gobin, Chairwoman, Tulalip Tribes celebrated the DraftKings partnership in a recent press release saying, “As we get ready to open our sportsbooks, we are excited to announce our exclusive partnership with the best in the business, DraftKings. We’re ready to take our gaming experience to the next level. Like Tulalip, DraftKings is committed to excellence and, together, we’re going to give sports fans a one-of-a-kind experience. We can’t wait for our customers to share our journey as we build the newest addition to our entertainment destinations.”

Michael Kibort, Sr. Director, Retail Sportsbooks at DraftKings was equally enthused saying about the Washington State expansion saying, ““Today marks an exciting day for DraftKings as we are set to expand our sports betting footprint to the great Pacific Northwest. In collaboration with the Tulalip Tribes of Washington, we look forward to bringing the very best in real-money gaming experiences to a state with a passionate fanbase spanning major professional sports leagues.”

Washington State is the 19th US state with a DraftKings sportsbook.
