WMS Gaming and ACEP Get Nevada Licenses
WMS Gaming and American Casino & Entertainment Properties (ACEP) are the latest companies to receive Nevada interactive gaming from the Nevada Gaming Commission. They join a steady stream of licensed businesses ramping up for the onset of intrastate poker later this year.
In a move for online poker legislation 2012, WMS is best know for making slot machines, but has been moving into the social gaming space recently. They’ll be licensed as both an interactive gaming system manufacturer and as a service provider.
ACEP is a big name casino operator and parent company of both the Stratosphere and Arizona Charlie’s casinos. Their plan for intrastate gaming is to start out with free play and add real money gaming sometime in 2013.
Both companies began the licensing process back in June and were approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board back on September 6.
