Jesus Navas – Spain
He’s probably not the most popular guy in Croatia today, but Jesus Navas probably won’t have to foot the bill next time he steps out for tapas when he gets back home. The speedy Sevilla FC right winger scored the game winning goal that knocked the Croats out of the Tournament and kept the Spainiards on track.
Navas’ success in the Euro 2012 is all the sweeter given the fact that his 2012 season hasn’t exactly been a raging success. Thanks to a nagging injury he’s only scored one goal this season.
