Even though I’m usually laughing about some of the big guns stressing about ”rips”, this is really going way too far. All the site is a pure ripoff.

I’m lost, though. Seems like you have a pretty good coder (or you are one yourself), it’s not like the LCB’s website is a miracle. You can easily come out with a bunch of ideas that would work (read convert) as well and wouldn’t piss anyone off.

There’s no shame in stealing a great concept idea, but I’m pretty sure you’ve misunderstood this concept. You could easily make widgets with the same functionality and a different look, that would be completely alright.

Wouldn’t it have been much easier to just start with a concept first and then gradually add unique content.

Ps – Copyscape says “This page seems to have recently removed some matching content” for the page I looked at.

You need to REMOVE it NOW, what do you not understand about breaking the law? LCB gave you a chance to remove it without litigation, why would you let it go more than 1 day?

Deny access in yout htaccess to everyone, or put up a simplr html page saying be back soon?

I don’t see the point of copying someone else’s website? Wouldn’t it be better to have a website that is unique and original looking? You should check out about 10 or 20 similar sites, and come up with with some designs that look good, and are easy for your visitors to navigate as well ” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />
