How long did it take you?

Yvette asked 3 years ago
If you are just starting out or have been in the business for a long time. Ideally, how long did it take until you started seeing some money in the bank?? How much time did you spend to increase that revenue?

Thanks for your insight… Just curious… what is the benchmark revenue number you are aiming to hit… just a ballpark?

This is funny. Till 18 months ago I was making about 300$ a month (cigarette money) and I was close to sell my main website. Now I do nothing else than writing content every single day and my earnings are enough to live well without having a real job.

Is Google Ads really helps you in conversion?

I reccon i spent a couple of years fiddeling around for small money back in the good old days, before i finally struck gold, then hundreds of dollars came daily overnight. To bad those easy days are long gone :/

The flip side on how fast to lose it all was about 3 days after the UEIGA law passed in 2006!:roflmao:

Do you guys feel like link exchange is helpful to get more traffic to your sites? If it does, would it be helpful to you if we had an area where you could just trade links with high PR sites?

I think this would definitely be helpful for new affiliates

i started my first site in january last year just to see if i could pay my rent (£250) off it, nothing for 3 months, in the 4th month i did it with extra money to party. so i started building more and more sites and earnings have increase steadily. im still to scared to leave my real job for security reasons and i still see this (igaming affilating) as a hobby and not a career that il ever become full time, but other areas of this industry seem very appealing and would love to one day be a part of it.

how long did it take you guys to learn SEO? Did you use it to improve your results at first?

You have to constantly learn SEO, the rules change and you have to change with them
