I hope I am not crossing any lines here, but you guys are talking about “cleaning-up” the industry, but how would you explain that ALL the major aff. programs have a little “NO SPAM” square right on their home pages, and at the same time they take no actions against the big spammers?

I think the definition of “spam” as it’s stated on most affiliate programs’ sites is unsolicited email, which is an earlier definition. (Not the original definition though–the original definition is the tasty meat product sold in a can.)

I don’t think most affiliate programs care what kind of SEO practices you use as long as they don’t get into trouble.

Stupid, most of the spam domains previously reported by cyclone are owned by a casino affiliate program itself so no surprises why no action is taken.
The right thing to do is to NOT PROMOTE THEM. (As already done by big / bright webmasters anyway) and to bulk REPORT THEM to search engines. :shooter:

    1. This casino affiliate program have no moral and are DESPERATE for players since NO SERIOUS BIG WEBMASTER trusts them or promotes them outside their own bullshit blog spam sites.

    2. I have NEVER seen ONE advertiser promoting them in the past in Google Adwords or Overture … There is absolutly no reason why an affiliate would promote them at the top of all his sites (each time by creating custom Ids for each domains)

    3. The only place I tried their affiliate program is on Overture France cause casinos are very rare in french.. Their conversion is Pittyfull compared to CasinoBlasters or Tradal or Even JackPot City French or RoxyPalace. Players retension is also very poor.

    4. They STEAL approx 2 PAGES of first positions on yahoo for top keywords with their ‘spammed network’ giving us and their affiliates the RESTS.

    5. They harrass their affiliates as if they were in a sect and there is NO confidence to have in their stats either.

    6. They carry over negative balances and according to what they told me it’d not be profitable for them not to do so. (if true it shows what kind of patehtic homebased company it is) And they even told me that if programs like casinoblasters and referback dont carry over negatives it’s because they shave … that i shouldnt trust them and i’d be better off using their program instead… yeah right, like I have started in the biz yesterday !

    7. Getting paid with them is a pain, i DIDNT received my TIER 2 commission for many months. I was in percentage mode I had a strangely not performing period so by hasard they offered me a CPA mode :terms: under the SAME account i had… in order to NOT PAY my old players % and to restart from ZERO with the CPA, it’s exactly what they did !

I have leaft their affiliate program :flush: by simply removing their banners and even not expecting to get paid… It wasnt that easy though, I started to receive phone calls from them barely EVERY BUSINESS DAY and some emails… I have changed my phone number for a confidential one and I do sleep very well now.

I would not post this message if I’d not knew other SILENT webmasters who also had bad experience with them…
oh and both http://www.socoplan.org/ and http://www.gold-online-casinos.com/ have the same design… now thats cheap … the funny thing is a guy i know have been offering that template by that casino affiliate program cause he was starting in casino business and needed a portal.

We see nothing in Canadian law that forbids someone to complain about foreign / US companies over the net, what a good country eh! I have NO contract or obligation… But sorry if it scares some auto-censuring members of CAP. I suggest you to keep talking about weather and it’ll pass..

If you run a profitable/honest casino affiliate program there is no reason/interest to spam like desperates or to even allow it in the first place… Honnest affiliate programs are LONG TERM because of their spotless reputations and credibility and they don’t beg top affiliates to promote their casinos.

Note: don’t spam me your Valium referals I dont need it… I always had very good experiences with all other casino affiliate programs : Referback has been some kind of :santa2: Santaclauss to me while Casinoblasters a streaker elf in tutu… and others are my 2005’s resolutions !

hypnotik, good eye, unfortunately we have been over that aff. program, and the discussion of it (the whole matter) turned out to be “not-welcome” on this forum.
However we all know what you are talking about, and most of us agree. I have taken those casinos off my websites, and despite the numberous attempts from them to get them back – it aint happenin’ :)

Spamming will get you nowhere :)

Oh, and you can check those websites’ alexa ranking…hihi…

Those sites use to be redirects.

I agree with you. Some companies are in it for the long term, others just care about today.

    What the Fxxx?

I just clicked on the links offered above and ended up in an endless loop of redirects to all the Casino Partner Casinos – I am unable to close the windows – Windows us unable to shut down – what the fuxxx?

I have a new window opening every minute or so – alltogether I show 24 of them now!

This damn stuff hijacked my computer and I am going to have to turn off the juice and start over.

I am really angry about this!!!!

Today must not be my day – it’s the second program I am getting angry at!

    Grrrrrrrrrrr!

There won’t be anything we can do about that crap as long as we can’t act as a team.

If we could – we could all ban together take the banners down of casinos who are advertised on junk sites – and teach them that it matters where they put their ads.

But that just ain’t going to happen.

    Too Bad.

p.s. Thanks for the heads-up about the pop-ups, Dom. Probably saved me a reboot.

Fact: It’s impossible to appear on yahoo’s top keywords ‘decently’ right now without cheating.

There is actually someone here on CAP username : ”Janet” who can be named the King of Blogs, but what of casino affiliate program(s) who condon it by allowing these sites to promote them?

And btw my post at http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/showthread.php?t=4632&page=3&pp=15 was for sure about that Janet

Should we congratulate them and give them our listings silently as if we work on our sites for charity ? I know that these sites are temporary, but we sure can’t tolerate them unless you tell me that there is a ‘time limited promotion that allow people to steal in USA stores? With ‘get out of Jail Free cards’

With junk sites listed in first and second page.. Honest sites now compete for an amazing page 2 or 3 listing returning absolutly no traffic at all..

Some webmasters write very good articles/content that they update often, while others focus on link trades and also BUY links.. In commun : we invest time and effort.

Actually, potential players searching yahoo.com for ”online casino” or other gambling-related terms will surely use another search engine in the future after getting trapped in a few popup hell sites..

Most surfers look at several portals before deciding where to spend their money. It’s trustworthy sites that reassure them and encourage them to convert somewere.. But it sure isn’t the pop-up hell sites that are selling this industry – sure surfers may choose to download a casino from that popup hell site…yeah but while he’s installing or playing and willing to deposit money there are like 20s of rotating casinos popups. It’s possibly killing the market. Staining the online gambling industry – putting us in the same light as porn.

How many newbs – potential casino customers – never become a gambler because they just can’t trust the industry after being exposed to these spam sites?

Beside free search engines results what are other ‘free/fast/easy’ way we’ve got to promote casinos ? I sadly saw Overture and Adwords die there was nothing to do Bush is a deviant spastic… but now what ??? We are silenty watching a bunch of criminals determined to destroy all casino advertising methods and revenues including their own.
