InactiveIt’s not unfair. You think it’s unfair that people are willing to do things to suceed that you mentally can not? While we’re at it why don’t we complain that only women are allowed to work at strip bars, or that the majority of construction workers are men. Not that I’d do it, but if someone was willing to give Sergy Bin a BJ to get #1 positions accross the board then I would not complain
If one person gave Sergy Bin a BJ to get #1 position, the NEW prescendent would no longer be finding sneaky software – instead we’d all have to run around competing to give the BEST blowjobs to get ranked.
See why your idea is rotten yet? See why I’m saying that it’s a good idea to take the high road?
Again – this illustrates my point – we could “play fair” here, or we can cheat and be reduced to idiots running around doing anything and everything that doesn’t relate to our job to suceed. then naturally if we’re doing all of that, there is no quality to our sites. our time has been ursurped by giving the owners of SE’s blowjobs and finding good blog spamming software.
Not my choice. you might reconsider yourself one day.
And for the record, nobody said anything about strippers — there are sex clubs for MEN & WOMEN – additionally the “job” at such a joint is stripping / sex entertainment. Therefore it would be hard to carry this analogy as the job being performed is “on topic” to use your words and not like spam at all.
Spam arises when I’m in the Hooters restaurant and try to make a few extra bucks after my meal, by say, jumping up on my table and doing an unsolicited strip tease. The public responds by promptly throwing me in jail. AND I WAS IN A HOOTERS!!! Imagine if I was in your 5 star fine dining restaurant.

InactiveGood going, Bernie!
Well said! :clapper:
PS. But I wouldn’t throw you in jail for stripping in a 5 star restaurant, long as you remember to tell me when and where.

InactiveI agree antoine that the #1 spot in MSN is off-topic. However that site does not use blog spamming to acheive it’s positions. This is just an example the MSN algo not performing. Interesting though that for a competitive keyword a site like this comes up.
Also, my comment on strippers/construciton workers was merely to point out that just because something favours a specific type of person does not make it unfair. Relating that to blog psamming if you the SE’s favour a tactic that you mentally can’t do then this is not unfair or against any rules.
Like I said, the majority of these blogs are floating around unloved, unwanted and unmonitored. Then people come and post links relating to their website so that their site comes up for terms relating to their site. I see no problem with that.
I think we’ve overstepped the original question (I’ve forgotten what it is) and are the only ones in this thread. If you ant to continue this by e-mail or PM I’d be happy to debate on, but we’re both so set in our ways I doubt either of us will make an impression.
On a side note, my comment about how SEO’s need to change their tactics from time to time has given me an idea of how to get the same quality&quantity of links without blog spamming. Is will most likely still be regarded as ‘black-hat’ or ‘unethical’ but we’ll debate that when everybody catches on.
