Miles, that sounds good but I am not entirely clear on the answer to this question:

If a player downloads casino A from my site, and subsequently is cross promoted by GP to casino B, do I get credit for both casinos?

Can you please answer more clearly, I am confused if your answer is a yes or no.

By GP I mean Grand Prive and not another affiliate.

Looks like we are getting close to settling this. Thank you for your replies.

You will never Lose the Player and will continue to earn Comm for LIFE on that player as long as he is playing and purchasing at the casino you bought him too.

quote=Simmo!;151460]So just to be totally clear Miles. If Grand Prive cross-promote casinos in their group to a player I have referred, I get no credit for that? Even though without me you would never have had that player to contact in the first place?

I really hope I got that wrong because that’s totally misunderstanding the concept of affiliates. Why would I want to send someone through your door if there was a chance I would later be cut out of the loop?

I can understand that if Affiliate B sends them to a 2nd casino he/she gets the credit. That’s fine.

Please clarify…am I right or wrong?

    Thanks

You will earn Comms on the player as Long as he plays at the Brand or session Casino You signed Him Up to if he moves Brands ( this can be treated as though he has left our group ) and signs up through another Affiliate then they too will earn Comm on the player

So the answer is Yes you both will earn Comm as long as the Player is Purchasing and Playing its up to you as the Affiliate to get him to Purchase More and Play More at the Brand you signed Him up at

    Miles, not another affiliate.

We settled the business with other affiliates, there is no issue there.

If I send a player to casino A, and Grand Prive cross promotes him to casino B or C or any of them, do I get comission for the other casinos, or just for the session casino, casino A?

    Thank you

I’m sure you won’t earn commissions for from the other casinos. Only casino A.

That’s what I am trying to make sure of.

I seem to understand “no” but I want to be totally sure there is no misunderstanding here.

I have been Totally Miss Quoted here

I was responding to an Affiliate who had issues with the $10 free Offer

MGS offered us the Single Sign on Option as a Player benefit and WE as the GrandPrive Group Of Casinos took This Product from them.

In No way is it definite or Confirmed that Other Operators Will Do the Same I do apologize if I scared you or Made you question their Programs

Each Group has The option to Take or Not take a Product From MGS and in No way is This forced on Operators I do apologize

What I did want to Tell The affiliate In my Mail is that She is More than Welcome to contact MGS to Verify That We as the GradnPrive Group Took Single Sign on as a Product and If they New or could say if any other Operators did have the same Ideas even though they would not divulge this information.

In no way did I want to say or mean to say That they would or have decided to do so and I apologise to you and all of them if this is what was understood from that Quote this was Not my Intentions to Harm any of their reputations in any Way

Does anyone remember when Miles or Irwin stated that it was “typical” for casino affiliate programs to cross market the casinos without giving the affiliate credit? This was maybe 1 or 2 years ago. Many people here said that he didn’t know what he was talking about — that what he said was NOT the way things were done. The issue just sort of faded away after that.

My point — does this person really know what he is talking about? I believe that GP does indeed engage in these unfair practices — but I question whether or not we can believe what he says about “everyone else.”

If he is right, and if other MGS programs plan to follow suit, there is going to be a lot of unpleasantness in the coming months.

Ok, I’ll check back in a few hours, I have to go somewhere.

It would be a good thing to settle this before I leave for London tomorrow, so we don’t have a great big thing going on there as we do here.

    OK

I will give you an answer and explain

The answer is No you’ll earn Comm as Long as the Player purchases and Plays at the Casino you signed him up at.

If he opens an account and Plays elsewhere through another affiliate then you do not earn Comm on the player if he is not purchasing and Palying at the Casino You signed him up at.

That is why we are here to Keep Him playing at the Casino you singed him up at by offering you the support you need to keep the Player at the Casino you got him to download Rather than Him deciding to leave us as a Group and this is what My point is

If your earning Comm on a Player and He leaves Us To go Play at another Casino do they give you Comm because you introduced the Player to these sorts Of casinos No they dont Nor do they give you a referal.

This was the Only way we could do this to be fair on all Affiliates How could we Attach a player to you for Life at all 7 Casinos if you Only signed Him up at 1 of those what about the Comm that the Other 6 Affiliates May deserve to earn for promoting a Brand that You did Not? This is Why single sign On Works for you and should be seen as a Positive and Not a Negative in anyway. Rather than The players coming In to Our Group and then leaving to Play elsewhere hence you loose your Comm for good we have Given them The Chance To play at 7 Casinos in 1 depositing and Playing at the one or ones of their Choice Rather than restricting them To Just One.

Our research and Stats show Clearly that Most of our Players Do Hop around and Play at all of the Casinos They have downloaded and dont just restrict themselves to one as they like variety.

When we Market we Market To everyone in the GrandPrive Group as Youll Notice from Our Loyaty Program and weekly Promotions w we are Now promoting GrandPrive as a Whole and Not the individual Casinos

As i Stated in My previous Posts This was a Complete Miss Communication from My side I do apologize for this . Single Sign on Is a Grand Prive Option we took and does not affect other Programs in any way

Dom – are you sure about this – surely it is only a rumour? It just doesn’t make sense to me that casino groups would do this unless they have decided they don’t need affiliates any longer. I don’t usually doubt you but this idea is plain stupid when you think about it and I would be incredibly surprised – actually, make that dumbfounded – if any casino groups do this. I know a lot have tried to reduce affiliate costs in the past in some, er, “questionable” ways, but they really aren’t this stupid. Sorry but I don’t buy it unless, as I say, they have decided they don’t need affiliates anymore. There are far better ways to reduce overheads than to alienate your marketing people.

Engineer brings up a good point. MG casinos and others may have been doing this all along without us knowing about it. If someone signs up at Royal Vegas, playes and then switches to Vegas Palms Casino, are they tracked to the affiliate? If they were not tracked we would not know the difference! That player would just be a one time deposit and you wouldn’t see him again. I believe that GP let the cat out of the bag and this has been going on for years.

    Hello,

I’m relatively new to the casino market since I thought that I’d expand my sports book site. Because of this new policy, I’d like to remove all the casinos that use Microgaming software from my site. Is there a list that shows the casinos using such a policy?

Miles if we sent them to your GROUP then we should get credit for all 7 casinos, once they have 1 account, you have them now to do what you want with and we all know you cross market via snail mail and besides that why would the player go seach out the casinos when they have them advertised to them right when they log in?

I am confused about the 1 login Miles say I send you a player for the 1st time to the group and they are assigned the login, then they go and see another casino in your group at another website and download, will the not get and error message saying they already have a login???

This is what drew my attention with the $10 free for new players to the entire group Miles, the way you instist that they need to be new to the group, because once you snag them from there they are consider yours for the entire group.
