This policy of Grand Prive’s is UNACCEPTABLE.
I don’t promote GP, but I’d like the other programs I work with to know this: If you adopt this kind of policy as well, I will remove you from my network of sites.

Dom – are you sure about this – surely it is only a rumour?
This is a quote from Grand Prive:
you may also approach MGS and ask them how many other casinos Plan to go this route you’ll be shocked to find out
That Most if them will.
January 21, 2008 at 6:12 pm #759119AnonymousInactiveWhen Grand Prive started to have 1 single banking and then 1 single login
my 1st thought was,
now, what is if a player signed up for Lake under me,
deposits through Lake , plays a bit there and then decides to continue play at Jupite which was through another Affiliate.
So then I heard this is all possible to track and every affiliate get what is correct.
I said also, for what more Casinos,
Its all like one Casino with just different skins.
I wonder why only now many here saying they will remove Grand Prive?
So please tell me,
why did we keep up so long with them?So we been cheated from them now already since long time.
hmmmI do hope that other groups dont follow this style.
I am just glad that I found other nice Casinos besides MG
which are converting well and they pay me always without any problem.January 21, 2008 at 6:13 pm #759120AnonymousInactiveyou may also approach MGS and ask them how many other casinos Plan to go this route you’ll be shocked to find out

Hmm.
Does anyone remember when Miles or Irwin stated that it was “typical” for casino affiliate programs to cross market the casinos without giving the affiliate credit? This was maybe 1 or 2 years ago. Many people here said that he didn’t know what he was talking about — that what he said was NOT the way things were done. The issue just sort of faded away after that.
My point — does this person really know what he is talking about? I believe that GP does indeed engage in these unfair practices — but I question whether or not we can believe what he says about “everyone else.”
If he is right, and if other MGS programs plan to follow suit, there is going to be a lot of unpleasantness in the coming months.
January 21, 2008 at 6:30 pm #759122AnonymousInactiveEngineer brings up a good point. MG casinos and others may have been doing this all along without us knowing about it. If someone signs up at Royal Vegas, playes and then switches to Vegas Palms Casino, are they tracked to the affiliate? If they were not tracked we would not know the difference! That player would just be a one time deposit and you wouldn’t see him again. I believe that GP let the cat out of the bag and this has been going on for years.
January 21, 2008 at 6:30 pm #759123AnonymousInactiveOddson (Vegas Tech), Rival and RTG will be very happy if this happens. It won’t matter with single casino micros such as Intertops.
I should hope the bigger, old time groups know better than following suit.
Like Simmo said, any group planning to go “single sign on” must be planning to go it without affiliates.

January 21, 2008 at 7:02 pm #759130AnonymousInactiveIll be pruning the Grand Pricks casinos here shortly, totally unacceptable

Is it possible that Miles is a bit confused or his communication has been misinterpreted? Should we get clarification on this before everyone rushes off mob-handed burning bridges?
I still refuse to believe they can be that silly

January 21, 2008 at 9:17 pm #759142AnonymousInactiveI’ve had enough – Stat pages are ridiculous as far as loading and refreshing and now this!
Removing all banners – reviews and any links today!
January 21, 2008 at 10:28 pm #759147AnonymousInactiveWell, Roadhouse Reels stole $3K from me as a player, so this doesn’t surprise me at all to learn that they are now stealing affiliates money. However I would be very surprised if other reputable microgaming affiliate programs follow suit here unless they are begging to be dropped. I just cant think of anything that has changed in the equation that would justify making a move like this. Affiliates are still the life line of this business and until that changes, you would have to be a real blooming idiot to adopt such a policy unless your looking to sabotage your success.
If Doms information has come from a reliable source outside of Grand Prive, then I might get concerned. But the odds say that this is not going to happen with any other microgaming program. Their actions at Grand Prive illustrate how smart they are, so I would caution giving so much credence to anything they tell you from GP. They do not speak for other microgaming programs!!!!
January 22, 2008 at 2:58 am #759168AnonymousInactiveWe do not promote Grand Prive. Never have.
But thanks for the head-up warnings ladeis and gents – becuse now we know never to bother !!
:flush:January 22, 2008 at 6:13 am #759173AnonymousInactiveAlways nice to see people getting all wound up because of a hearsay, thought you of all people Dom would know to be 100% shure about this before you post it on aboard.
January 22, 2008 at 7:04 am #759174AnonymousInactiveThe info comes from miles@grandpriveaffiliates.com
Verbatum.
Grand Prive and several other micro groups are aware of this thread and I see no one stating that they would not do this.
I want this clarified, Grand Prive has been doing this for some time and I am not aware of any notice. I think it best to bring it up now and get reassurance that it will not happen elsewhere.
Maybe Miles doesn’t know what he is talking about re. the other micros. Maybe he said that just to defend his own actions. If so, that needs to be clarified also.
I am sure though that he didn’t invent the term ” single sign on” and I know he has been enforcing the concept at Grand Prive.
I will not credit old accounts at all.
The deal with all my affiliates is for New players ONLY!
If this is Not acceptable I will with drawe My sponsorships.
I am not crediting People who have old accounts with GP
New account Holders Only rember we are single Sign on Now so if you have an account at One you have an account at all.
I don’t need old players we want New depositing Players.
(BTW, this is not personal, this was not addressed to me but shared by a fellow aff)
Well, Miles, go ahead and withdraw your sponsorships, at G&C you are gone already.
I would not go through the considerable trouble of pulling a program I have done business with for years and that permeates my sites if I had not heard this from the program itself.
I don’t know what the math is here, how many affiliates become disposable when the program saves a ton of money by paying only a fraction of comissions. I must assume though that if they lose all the major affiliates, they will not profit. If enough affs are content to send players and lose a good portion of them to the “single sign on” rule, the program will likely profit.
