They avoided the question (note how that’s not plural – it was only ONE question they needed to answer) by replying with 2 or 3 copies of the same long-winded post about the price of eggs in China, and then they have the audacity accuse those who participated in the thread of being “roamers” ? What a great way to do business!

    Roamer? LOL :la-de-da:

Wow , I don’t know how this started or who started this roamer but let me set the record straight.

I assumed he mispelled “rumor” as in ‘I don’t know who started this rumor’

I don’t even know what a roamer is.

That’s a possibility, but I read the whole thread and didn’t see one rumor. If he’s referring to GP cross-marketing and essentially eliminating the affiliate, that’s not a rumor – they eventually confirmed that this is what they have been doing.

This group already had serious player issues appearing over a year ago, before they began this new affiliate system. Affiliates who were thorough enough to check should not be promoting them at all based on that. BelleRock have gone the same way recently.

The ‘single sign on’ doesn’t have anything to do with the affiliate system. In fact, it is harder to implement their stealing with the ‘one sign on’ system rather than separate accounts since I believe the purchases are shared between all the casinos (so if a player deposits at one and plays with the deposit at another, who gets credit?). It would be much simpler to make the original affiliate stay linked to the player forever throughout the whole group, yet Miles stated that it was not possible anymore. The stealing of referred players is simply done to save them money. I’m surprised no one promoting them noticed the new terms until now, assuming the terms and conditions cover this.

Another thing, I’ve had no dealings with Miles and Irvin but I don’t see how anyone would trust them from the way they have posted on here.

I didn’t think deposits was a factor in calculating our earnings. I thought earnings were calculated strictly on wagers less wins, etc. Which would mean the answer to who gets the credit is simple. I’d imagine each affiliate would get credit for what was wagered and lost by their affiliate. Regardless of which casino the deposit was made. It’s where the wagers and losses took place that matters. That’s what I thought anyway.

I think he meant the thread is a roamer, as it goes on and on…

The topic didn’t roam though, it was all about one simple yes or no question.

Or it was supposed to be anyways…

It was the GP answers that roamed all over the place…

Like everyone else, I like to see issues resolved here. One thing I don’t like is to see things that are just not worded right, or mispelled, made into issues when they’re nothing more than a mistake. I talked to Irwin earlier on the phone about my account, and asked him what he meant here, ‘roamer’ or ‘rumor’. He said it was just a mistake, and that he meant to say rumor.

Yes, I know Deara what he meant and the fact is this is not a rumor and I am really happy that your working out your account issues with Irwin and I hope that the same happens for the 100’s off affiliates that are at the present time being robbed from get fixed asap!

I am sure that nothing about this cross marketing issue would have been brought to the public eye by Dom(who was consulted by another webmaster) unless there was some kind of proof or email back ups.

I know that Irwin takes his job very serious and his affiliates are important to him as well, this is why I have hope that this will be resolved for us all. Sometimes things need to be brought to the public eye to get resolved, it may not always look pretty but it does get results.

Someone made a comment back a few pgs about Referback going the same way, I just want to say bull to that! That program has always gone down the right path with affiliates, if there was an error they never beat around the bush they got right down to the “how can we fix this” and got it done! They do cross market BUT they give the orginal affiliate all the credit.

I didn’t see anything about Referback going the same way – and I am not about to go back through this monster thread. But I am positive that will not happen.

There may be several that will go the one signup route, but from what I gather this has definitely nothing to do with not crediting affiliates for cross promotions.

I don’t start rumors, and I don’t believe much of what I read. If you see me starting a thread like this, you know I have good reason to believe something is wrong.

Obviously there is. And I, too, hope it will get fixed.

Over the years a number of programs have adopted policies that are just not acceptable to affiliates, and we confronted it and got it straightened out. These programs operate flawlessly since, and that is the way it should be.

Threads like this have only one purpose – to fix things.

In London, Referback told me that they are not going to do what Grand Prive did.

Just to be clear here, all I tried to do was to point out that Irwin meant rumor and not roamer. I’m not the one that said anything about what’s rumor or what’s fact. Just pointed out the mispelling. Sheesh!

The Referback casinos have actually got major and multiple player isssues currently so I can’t promote them and soon I won’t be able to promote any Microgaming group (if Carmen Media are dumped). I had the whole of Microgaming dumped after a Gaming Club incident 5 years ago but that was resolved within a month and unfortunately they will be blacklisted again for similar problems if this isn’t resolved within weeks. The reason is that Bellerock has major links to the software company. If casinos can’t remember how to behave any more, then I have no hesitation in dumping them despite having promoted Bellerock for five years. Affiliates will be next after the players.

We have conferences scheduled with Grand Prive’s CEO and CTO to get this problem corrected. I will keep you guys abreast of the discussions, a timeline and progress being made.

Did you get to meet them and what did they say?
