WynnBet, the sports betting arm of the Wynn Resorts empire, is integrating into the Wynn Rewards ecosystem. It’s a move that brings together Wynn’s digital properties and land-based operations in a manner that is essential in today’s market.
Wynn Rewards will be available to players in Colorado, New Jersey, Virginia, Indiana and Tennessee by the end of the month, and should be available to players in Michigan some time later in the fall. Of course, Wynn Rewards is already available to land-based players, and Wynn is doing everything they can to make online players as excited about the rewards program. That includes grandfathering in play that’s already occurred on mobile apps into the program immediately.
Wynn Interactive CEO Craig Billings explained the situation in a press release saying, “One of WynnBET’s unique advantages is its connectivity to the best integrated resorts in North America. Our WynnBET Wynn Rewards program will allow our players the opportunity to redeem offers through their WynnBET app or on property at Wynn & Encore Las Vegas and Encore Boston Harbor. We also wanted to reward our early WynnBET players with tier upgrades based on historical play, which provides additional benefits to our customers.”
Wynn officials are hoping that by rewarding their early adopters with advanced reward levels ahead of the lucrative NFL season, they’ll be able to retain those players for the rest of their betting lives. And if they can get mobile players into their land-based properties, that’s even better.
