Reid-Kyle is Just a Bill

The Reid-Kyle Act
Regulated online gambling in the United States is up and running and is, for the most part, completely controlled at the state level. This dynamic is due largely to the fact that the US Congress has been completely unable to pass a bill governing it, despite several unsuccessful attempts in the form of the Reid-Kyle Bill.
The failure of Reid-Kyle means that gambling operators will be navigating a checkerboard of state regulations when setting up shop in the US; though a single Federal act could bring the entire regulatory structure under one roof.
Given the severe dysfunction in Washington D.C. today, the chances of ever seeing the Reid-Kyle Act on the big stage are practically non-existent.
