Franzen (left) in happier days.

Bradley Franzen

Bradley Franzen is a 41-year-old Illinois man who, like so many others, was caught in the web of deceit spun by the Full Tilt crew. His role as a payment processor included some unconventional duties such as creating shell companies to act as middlemen for illegal transactions.

When the Black Friday indictments came rolling down the pike, Franzen was facing a boatload of money laundering and gambling charges that could have earned him a hefty 85-year-sentence. Though he initially pleaded not guilty, he eventually bargained that down to three charges with a potential 30-year-term.

The price for that sweet deal? He also agreed to testify on behalf of the prosecution should other Full Tilt cases go to trial. (See how that works?)
