December 1, 2008 — After a sensational opening night, the European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP III), the largest tournament series currently taking the online poker world by storm, shows no sign of slowing down. The turnout at Tuesday night's $100,000 Guaranteed Prize tournament far exceeded expectation, increasing the prize pool offering to $106,600. In total, 533 players were glued to their seats for the second ECOOP Event, but it was Italian Titan Poker player, Lorenzo Savallo, who stole the show with his skilful victory at the tables.
The thirty-five year old Silver VIP player from Italy took home a total of $24,518 and the prestigious ECOOP III bracelet after placing number one in the second ECOOP III event.
