Fans of playing live games over the Internet can now add the ancient pastime of baccarat to their list after MediaLive Casino Limited presented its latest title at last week's Global Gaming Expo Asia 2009 in Macau.
The live online casino games solutions developer is licensed by Malta's Lotteries And Gaming Authority and also offers blackjack, roulette and Texas hold'em poker.
MediaLive Casino revealed that it opted to debut its latest development in the former Portuguese colony because the game was originally imported from this outpost in the 15th Century before being introduced throughout Europe.
"Live games are the future of online gambling," said Angelo De Gobbi, Sales And Marketing Manager for MediaLive Casino.
"The players don’t trust the algorithms that online casinos are based on anymore and are, instead, researching an environment like the one in a real casino in which they are accustomed to playing. These factors allow the live games to generate more income than classic virtual games."
MediaLive Casino revealed that its baccarat product has been developed specifically for companies that want to integrate the game into an existing online gaming platform in order to diversify their offering. It stated that the game of baccarat is capable of attracting and maintaining a vast number of clients that are passionate about gambling.
The Maltese firm also offers technology that allows players at traditional casinos to participate from home using a video station installed in a gaming room.
