November 3, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Titan Poker, the largest online poker room in the Playtech iPoker Network, is reporting a surge in traffic following the company's announcement of its third European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP III), starting later this month.
Daily qualifying satellite tournaments are already underway for the event, which consists of fourteen consecutive nights and is scheduled to include a wide variety of poker games, including Texas No Limit Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo Poker. Buy-in amounts vary to accommodate every player's budget, and all players have a shot at the grand total of $4.15 million in guaranteed cash prizes. The series culminates with a $1,500,000 Guaranteed Prize Main Event on December 7.
This year, "The ECOOP III series was extended to fourteen days and the prize pool increased to give Titan Poker players more opportunities to showcase their poker skill and provide more winners bigger cash earnings," stated Titan Poker in a recent news release.
The company encourages players to sign up at the popular poker room to qualify for the tournament.
