Gila River Resorts and Casino Becomes First Indian NHL Jersey Sponsor


The Gila River Resorts and Casino are making history this month as they become the first Indian casino to have its logo on an NHL jersey. The groundbreaking Indian casino’s logo will be on the Arizona Coyotes’ jerseys for the entirety of the 2022-2023 season.
Under the terms of the deal, Gila River Resorts and Casino’s logo will be on the black Kachina jersey, which the Coyotes wear for home games. But the jersey is just part of the deal, Gila River Resorts and Casino will also be working with the Coyotes on a number of other brand promotion activities throughout the season.

Speaking via press release, Coyotes President & CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez commented on the deal saying, “We are thrilled to announce our extended partnership to add the Gila River Resorts & Casinos logo to our beloved home jerseys. Gila River has been a long-term partner for the Coyotes, and we are grateful for their tremendous loyalty and support over the years. Like the Coyotes, Gila River prides themselves on their commitment to excellence and to positively impacting our community. We look forward to having Gila River’s distinguished and respected name and logo on our incredibly popular black Kachina jerseys.”

The Arizona Coyotes first home game of the 2022-2023 season takes place on October 28 at Arizona State University’s Mullett Arena.
