13 Predictions for the Gambling Industry in 2013
#5 – New Rogues
It’s an unfortunate fact that at some point in 2013 at least one affiliate operator who is perfectly trustworthy today will go totally rogues. Whether it’s a retroactive T&C change, player shaving or even just running off with the money, you can guarantee it’s going to happen.
We won’t speculate on which operators are likely to go rogue because the examples we’ve seen in the last year were so unexpected. Affiliate partners should keep an eye for tell tale signs of rogues in industry forums and beware when topics like, “No Payment from Affiliate X” and “Has Anyone Been in Contact with Affiliate X?” start popping up with any frequency.

“The United Kingdom isn’t part of the European Union”
Guys, did I miss something??
You’re right Atilla – What we meant, but clearly didn’t express as well we should have – is that the UK has been more open to outside gaming interests than other Euro states. Thanks for the catch!
