Jadestone Networks Backgammon Is Exclusive WSOB Championship Network

January 21, 2010 (Stockholm, Sweden) – Jadestone Networks, the Nordic based owner and operator of multiplayer gaming networks GamArena and DiceArena, confirmed today that its Backgammon network is the exclusive World Series of Backgammon (WSOB) Championship qualifier network. The Championship, the finale to the 2009 WSOB tour, will take place in London on February 6th with a substantial prize pool of $480,000.

As well as supporting the WSOB, Jadestone’s network has also added Unibet as a distribution partner. Jadestone’s investment in new features and functionality is at an all-time high and 2010 will prove a breakthrough year for the Jadestone network and online backgammon.

Jadestone launched its backgammon network in June 2009 and since then it has become one of the fastest growing networks in Europe in terms of player liquidity. This has been achieved through distribution via b2b partners including bwin, Nordicbet, Betoto and Paf with Betfair confirmed to join the network within months.

“We have proven to our existing partners that backgammon is a very popular game,” said Tobias Nissen, General Manager of Jadestone Networks. “With new partners coming on board, and with huge offline events such as the $480,000 WSOB Championship, we expect to maintain growth through 2010 and to continue to lead the industry. We are making breakthroughs and we have established the Jadestone Backgammon network as the biggest backgammon game in town.”
