Are you being shaved?
Shaving is when an affiliate program moves players out from under your tag or otherwise takes money off your commission.
Do you think you are being shaved?

Some definitely! A couple software I would think less than 20% are honest , My biggest suspects are RIVAL casinos and Playtech.Although I think a couple MGS Belong in that group as well.

One has to question the sanity of this.
Shave a new affiliate, and you'll never grow any meaningful traffic with them because they are pushed out of business way early.
Shave an established affiliate and risk losing their traffic plus that of all their friends.
programs need to be very shortsighted to do this IMO.dominique

It is horrible to think that some programs do shave players and deposits and frankly it is wrong if they do. If it was not for affiliates they would not get nowhere near as much money as they do unless they have/had a huge marketing budget.
Surly it is illegal if they get caught and is something you can take them to court for?
If I have a program I would never shave, you have to think the more money an affiliate earns through an affiliate site the more chance of them sticking with that affiliate rather than trying to find a better one. -

It's a timeless topic.... and I think probably more relevant today than it was back in the day...
I certainly think there is a lot more shaving going on now than there used to prior to UIGEA.dominique

I've worked for 5 gambling companies. Of the 5 gambling companies, 0 had a policy on shaving.
1 company looked at the possibility of shaving, at which point I used the words
"are you high"
"do you know the risks"
"i worked so hard to bring those players on"
"advertisers will notice"
at which point, shaving was never brought up again. -
