Who are the SEO Superstars of the Industry?

JillO asked 3 years ago
Search Engine Optimization is by far the most popular educational topic among the vast majority of affiliates in our community. Across all spans as well- affiliates just starting out in the iGaming space as well as those who have been in it for years and years.

As most of you know, the term “gambling” can be a loaded gun in the world of SEO due to the restraints for high-authority government sites. But… there are some pretty incredible sites in our industry that have been able to pave the road to success in online gambling SEO marketing efforts. Check-out who we’ve deemed as SEO all stars to get some great info and inspiration.

Haha Rak, Yeah you know I grew up with Rastas. When i was a teen I lived with a family that were all Rasta for a year or so I lived in an area where my school was 80% Jamaican more or less..So it kind of rubbed off on me. They used to call me “White Dread”..

I used to wear the dangling belt with the baggy pants!! – Its funny huh?

I still love the music – ole school stuff like Tosh, Marley, Yellow Mun (favorite) Gregory Isaccs and some others. Love Reggae so much with a big spliff LOL.

Anyways yeah were getting there -I have been struggling for 4 years at this The first three were just a waste of time – haha.

Great list, I’ve been a fan of online-casinos.com – he saw an opportunity and jumped at it, and hasn’t looked back. I remember talking to him at a conference.. he took a risk trying to get a hold of it, and I remember thinking to myself, the guy is smart and has balls.

Great guy if you can get a hold of him to an interview *nudge nudge*

Hello,

Sorry took so long to reply, got really busy and just had time to catch back on the CAP forums. I actually had a very good time with them at the LAC this year.

I actually cannot share that information publicly unfortunately. You can PM me if you have questions regarding this.

As for the details, do you have specific questions I can help you with?

No worries- things can get business.

I should have been more specific… just trying to answer this question for you from your original post:
I wanted some input on what the affiliate community thinks about our work and what was done in the past 4 months.

Just need more details on the projects so we can share input…

Very nice seeing this post.

Since I am fairly new here, I want to introduce myself at the same time.

I have been into SEO for the past 8 years managing a decent portfolio of SEO customers and ventures.

Recently we received a project for a Casino Affiliate website.

We started on this project 4 months ago.

Today the website ranks on the first page of Google (Top 10) for about 15 TOP Industry Keywords (such as “online casino” , “best online casino” , online slots”, “online roulette”) etc…

The targeted traffic is from the US, Canada and the UK.

The strategy is still very extensive and spans on many years.

It is definitely much harder to optimize a gambling related website as many domains do not accept gambling related information or links.

I wanted some input on what the affiliate community thinks about our work and what was done in the past 4 months.

Welcome CasinoSEO! Thanks for introducing yourself and for sharing your info. Happy to feelers around for you. Any way you can share more details and/or the properties you’re project encompasses?

It has probably already been said but my answer is whoever consistently ranks highest for keywords that have the most value.

and you don’t need pagerank for this obviously.

I can tell you first off what did work and some of what did not work.

Sometimes just doing it and not thinking about it is the key to success.

One last thing that I stopped doing. Obsessing! Obsessing about what did not work – you know how when something doesn’t work you continue on and on because you think it can? You do the same thing over and over. Its a waste of time

Thats me all over! I find now.. I just get it done, one way or the other.. get it completed and out the door. Finding that paying people to make your ideas come to fruition is a great time saver, but can also be a great money waster if your ideas dont pan out. But it gets me moving to the next project.
