Is a signature worth it

I totally agree. Putting signature is one way for others to know that a site like yours does exist or let say it is one way of promoting it. But, be sure that you know how to use your sig, be responsible because others might consider it spamming especially in some forums. Goodluck!

Signatures are really important because when someone clicks on them it means that he is interested in the content of your signature

Signatures are important for 4 main reasons:

1. They increase a site’s backlinks
2. They’re useful for finding link exchange partners
3. They’re useful for assessing the popularity of sponsors in general
4. They’re great for attracting webmaster attention (if your site offers freebies to other webmasters )

I say it is deffinetly worth it. People buy and sell sig space all the time for upwards of $40/link sometimes.

I click on other’s signiture. if the content and design is good, I will request for link exchange.
