We suppose you guys are being bombed with newsletters from affiliate programs.
But there are other ways for us to let you know what’s new with our program (new creatives, system upgrade), what are the hot promos to push, eventual tips.
So what are your preferred methods?
Just tick your favorite on the poll and feel free to add other methods in your comments too <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

In your comments let us know as well on the newsletter topic:
– what do you prefer, all products news at once in the same newsletter, or in different newsletters?
– Somewhat related to the question above, how many newsletters do your receive a month, how many of them do you read and why?
– what kind of additional content to the usual news (products, system, conferences…) are you interested to read? Just some ideas here: SEO tips, legal info, advice to set up a business… Feel free to add whatever you think would help…

Yes! 😡

All together.

– Somewhat related to the question above, how many newsletters do your receive a month, how many of them do you read and why?
10-15.
About half.
Some have nothing of interest to say.

– what kind of additional content to the usual news (products, system, conferences…) are you interested to read?
New games releases & changes to any bonuses the casinos offer.

I like newsletters that have new promos, new games, and the appropriate banners with code. Those make me happy, they save a lot of time and they give the program the advantage of getting updated right away.

Yes.. these programs get updated very quickly.. If I need to go get my code or click a link to see the newsletter .. generally it gets put on the backburner.

Fridays, Mondays or over the weekend are just silly days to send a newsletter… These tend to get ignored.

Hello :hattip:

We, at PartnerLogic, send a monthly digest to all of our affiliates and post it on our website. This Digest resumes all the latest news such as new game releases, casino and poker promotions for your players, affiliate promotions, and any information we feel relevant (new payment methods, new creatives, conference attendance etc…). On top of this monthly digest we send a weekly email that goes into more detail. This helps our affiliates to feed their sites and newsletters with more content.

We usually send our emails on Friday but will not send one if nothing important is coming up <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> So far every week we had new info to email …If you work with us we like to keep you busy, but for the good reasons: reward you at the bottom line with more $$$!

Feel free to send me your email address to subscribe you to our newsletter, or sign up today <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />
And if you do not wish to receive emails from PartnerLogic, simply unsubscribe from it and check all the news directly on our site when you wish.

Bye bye!

The best solution would be not to “push” emails at all.

Instead create a section on your affiliate site called “news” or “press releases” and add all these promos into there as seperate links.

Then active affiliates can go and read the information on your site at a time that suits the affiliate.

Doesn’t work for me, I rarely go around all the programs. I pick changes and news up here and in my mail primarily. I go to the sites maybe once a month, and that is usually too late to pick up promos, they may already be a month old.

Then you’d learn to add this job to the role of one of your staff surely?

They could human filter out the 90-95% PR bumpf – and just let you know about the good stuff.

Yeak well, I’d have to open second accounts for staff and make sure they don’t get closed due to inactivity, have them grab things and then change all the codes. That’s time and money. I’d just as rather get the new creatives and codes in the mail. That’s quick and easy to deal with.

Fair enough – different strokes for different folks.
:hattip:

I just find the flood of PR bumpf from EVERY provider who thinks that they’re special means that we’re getting 50-80 a week, most of which gets quickly deleted.

Whereas a local repository of offers at each affiliate site would work better for the way we work, allowing us to focus on the partners that are working best for us.

I can assign someone the task of updating the sites with best offers at bet365, and they can get all the creative and work material at the affiliate site. Easy to define, package and assign.

I have some 35 aff programs I work with, it is too time consuming to go all over the place, and I keep them all updated as best I can.

I guess it depends, too, on what type of site you run – a directory obviously has a lot more places to cover.

I am not so much interested in newsletters that just chat, I like getting new promos including the banners and codes. All I need to do is forward the mail and the new promo is up within the day.

It’s just a huge time saver that way, and it also gives the program an advantage because they will always be fresh…
