Does google update each month? When shoud the next update be for january? I really did some work on one of my sites and getting anxious to see the results.

No, not every month. It could well be June before the next update. And I wouldn’t be too anxious – all the work you do can go unrewarded sometimes. Just try to focus on improving your site for visitors and let Google do what it will…

Google updates PR practically on the fly, but what we see in only updated about every three months or so.

Fortune Palace said it right…improve your site and don’t watch the little green bar. Build content and links and a good user experience and the rest will come.

I totally agree, we all should think on the user 1st, we build sites for people and not for machines,
just keep it clean and userfriendly , I think this is the key and will pay of in the long term .

Ah, just noticed my main site drop to PR2 from PR4. It’s probably those paid links I stopped paying for. And what was I paying for ? A higher PR and nothing else besides, traffic slowly increasing as I care nothing about manipulating pagerank and everything about creating original content. It’s a great diversionary scam by google that they’ve been running for years and still few clock.
