Duplicate content filters by Google, Yahoo and MSN

sipka asked 1 year ago
I have just found this very interesting article:

http://www.seochat.com/c/a/Google-Optimization-Help/Duplicate-Content-Penalties-Problems-with-Googles-Filter/

It seems to me that MSN has already cought up with Google if not better than the big G.

Excellent find, Sipka! An infuriating article, in a sense, but the results are quite interesting. Google is not where any of my quality traffic comes from anyway, but it is interesting to note that the spammers of the world can possibly influence your rankings with your own article.

Crazy azz Google.

Thanks Sipka!

Great read and interesting stuff.

It makes for an interesting dilemma for us webmasters.

It seems MSN and Yahoo at least make a little sense with what they are doing yet Google has all the market share and popularity.

I nice read of the article. I can’t really see how duplicant content can be a problem, but then I could be wrong.

you are wrong.

what i can’t see is how you can’t see how it’s harmful. the person writing the content should always get 1st billing or else what’s going to happen is the fresh content from intelligent writers is going to fall away to nothing because after a while even the most forgiving person is going to tire of making somebody else rich.

google needs to fix the problem asap!
