On the other hand banners for me are established tool in promoting an affiliate. Even without clicking it, players are always reminded of your site. Chances are they’ll click it just out of curiosity.

I actually prefer integrated text links now as well. They go better with the flow of the text. Banners should provide something more than a flashing annoyance. Some banners are actually very useful, such as Bodog’s scoreboard banners, because they actually provide information.

If banners would be designed more beautifully, you could actually use them sometimes for design purposes.

I think text links convert much better.

The banners that give me the most success are the banners that have a specific matchup or event being played on a specific date. Those actually do fair for me, which for banners is pretty good.

The banners with the hot looking chic’s, or a generic expression or to much color, for sports betting anyway don’t do well at all…………..in my opine.

I notice banners only because I am in the marketing industry. people dont look at banners as much as a handsome text link that looks like part of the story etc.
