I am not promoting them a lot anymore and most of my sites do not get traffic.
At this time I am not putting a lot of time in affiliate marketing.
For the time being they get some “free traffic” as I want to keep my sites intact.
Once I get some free time to brush up the sites they will be moved to minimum exposure / deleted.

totally agree Rak!
Some people are bitching on one hand, yet still promoting this outfit on the other. I can’t speak for these affiliates, that’s their choice.
Personally, when I have hard facts a program is screwing me, I kick their #ass to curb. And in this case, given all the casinos I promoted (for years) which they bought, and their own places, that amounts to a lot of players, and rightful commissions stolen by these crooks on a global affiliate scale.
Reiterating, truth be known this is how Casino Rewards paid for all these casinos!
Cheers

Unfortunately the damage has already been done. The affiliate program already stole the player/s. They know that if caught out we’ll simply stop promoting them.
At the end of the day they get away with theft.
My question is if we have irrevocable proof that an affiliate program is stealing our players how do we get justice served? Since they seem to be pretty much untouchable.

The CAPS, GPWAs etc feature slum groups on their sites – they don’t care about much other than the money that’s going into their pockets. So what some groups screw over some affiliates – as long as they pay their listing fee they can proudly wave their banner like they are one of the best around.

http://www.gpwa.org/forum/affiliate-union-183213.html?highlight=Affiliate+UnionAnyway, I closed the AU before it even opened. And from the ashes the GAU was born. Headed by Mojo and Chalkie who incidentally were former AU members and who voted to not give Corfman a seat. Yet freely invited him to join them at the GAU.
Both people resigned, then PokerKeep took over. He lasted about 14 months. In Feb 2011 he also left. To this day he’s never been heard from since. So the only person left at the GAU, Corfman – stranger than fiction huh!
That pretty much explains why these programs can continue to operate because they are give carte blanche powers to effectively bend affiliates over. Until gaming affiliates see the real truth behind many of the affiliate forums and associations, then nothing is going to change for the better and we’ll continue to be used and abused.Cheers

Thanks for outlining the above Dave.
No matter how many so-called watch dog sites and affiliate forums are online protecting affiliate and player interests, shaving will still continue no matter what.
With regard to the above this is what I propose:
All affiliate programs and affiliates must be registered with a legal board policed by attorneys familiar with the online gaming industry. Obviously this will differ from country to country and might entail loads of red tape.
To become a member programs and affiliates must pay an annual fee. In the event a program is not above board and found guilty of shaving affiliates they will be investigated by a legal team. If found guilty the maximum penalty must be imposed.
The downside to this is most affiliates won’t be prepared to pay a fee or simply won’t be able to afford to. Fees could be paid on a monthly basis or annually. Honestly this is the only way I see this industry become a bit more transparent. This being said, when regulation happens in the US it will be a total different ball game altogether.

InactiveI think the problem is affiliates looking for integrity in an industry where its non-existent compared to other industries.
people buy stuff off my retail sites all the time, trust is never an issue, its automatic.
lower your expectations and you won’t be disappointed when it does not go the way you anticipated.

Do what I do, report their skanky spamming #sses to blacklists

Adding if enough people complain, eventually the IP (or IP block range) will be blacklisted too.

Be a PITA if that’s the case!
That domain BTW:
Creation Date: 25-sep-2012 – Expiration Date: 25-sep-2013Now for an email address which you’ve stated is effectively off the radar, how is it possible that this person has it?
I’m telling you, this ain’t some affiliate spammer BUT Casino Rewards using bogus details to register throw away domains. Damn Crooks!

MissMMemberMust say I am now beginning to doubt them. I had a nice player there, made me some ok cash every month, for 4 months, now nothing anymore, gone.
Don’t know if he/she stopped playing, or was moved to another one of their casinos? But I am beginning to wonder now.

LucretiaMemberMost of my good players stopped playing, I do not know if those moved on or simply joined another CR casino when clicked on the untagged links in bonus promos/newsletters mass spam emails.
e.g. :
Earnings for October + November 2012 :
Casino classic $0.00 / total players referred 3595 (2008-2012)I have the feeling my account is compromized
But who knows, IMO this group has had the opportunity to become a stellar program, but choose the unethical path of cross promotion (to avoid having to pay commission they target your referred players with other CR brands).
