Amazing how brilliant the Rewards Affiliates strategy really is : let the fools promote, we will take care of your players with our inhouse marketing, is it not ?

gokkenMemberAnd I thought CAP was predominately full of newbies. Nice to see some of the older crew adding their thoughts on this thread.
Lets keep in mind, these claims of in-house cross marketing are not without hard factually proof. These facts clearly show CR/RA use many methods to lure tagged players away from the affiliates who brought them through the door.
I’ll be the first one to say, who ever thought up this marketing strategy is a genius. But unfortunately they are morally and ethically bankrupt. Because, theft is theft no matter how it’s sliced or diced.

(credit where credit is due, your good at what you do)
Or maybe it’s the lets stick up for them mindset at play. Turn a blind eye to what’s really going on, ignore the facts/truth but continue to take their side no matter what. Hoping the program wont shaft you as it’s doing to countless others.
It’s an observation which has clearly played out in similar threads, on this topic. Just saying

The biggest problem I have with this industry is the fact that programs get away with shaving affiliates and to top it all the culprits aren’t brought to book. It’s just a vicious cycle that goes on and on.
The gaming industry foundations grew from family connections. These insidious bonds have remained unchanged and unchallenged since day one. Start viewing it as a ‘Gambling Cartel’ and these connotations pretty much sum up the status quo of the industry, to varying degrees.
Conflicts of interest are riff. The alliances from too many fingers in too many pies, flourish in an environment like this. It’s a well oiled machine which takes on similarities to a regimental doctrine. Monopoly is not just a board game but a driving force which powers this industry.
Take a wander around some of the self proclaiming affiliate associations and player protection sites, compare their self righteous catch cries to their actions and you’ll see clear bias shown. Selling out affiliates and players for their own greedy ends. Essentially the talk doesn’t fit the walk.
If your in the clique, your protected. If not and you speak out against anything underhanded etc etc, your labeled the ‘Bad Guy’. Your dragged through the mud and your character is assassinated by fabrications and half baked truths. If you still refuse to roll over and shut up, your ostracized; banned from forums etc etc. Effectively closed down and silenced.
This creature has many far reaching testicles.
If you were around when SlyCin (Cindy) owned the GPWA or later, when the GPWA/CAP war was going on, and you have smarts, you’ll understand what I mean by this

I’m not saying this is going to solve the problem but it’s already a step in the right direction.
This would be the correct course of action. Sadly though, it will never happen.
While the USA regulations to online gaming are still in process, for me, it will be a a bitter sweet victory when their doors finally open. Albeit it will probably ruin my business, but at least I can rest knowing, the USA industry will be held up to rigid accountability, regardless of status.

PS Online gaming as we know it now, could have developed and grown into a well respected, self governing and regulated industry. There would have been plenty to go around. But as always, greed has f#cked it up. As a result its been red flagged!

Woe be it to anyone that replies in a unbelieving manner. You will be met with a haute and sometimes snotty reply that may belie or question your motivations and statements.
But, are there any other programs, besides bewin, that seem to be using ‘unusual’ marketing methods?

InactiveIv seen a massive drop in revenue from each casino that gets absorbed into the CRnetwork. I’m literally making less with them than I did with ONE casino before it was sucked in. Im looking to remove this group at some point, but its not easy when I let me members decide good / bad
60-80 new players a month for $1000 is no doing me a lot of good

IDK she claimed to have blocked me over at AGD because she said I was harrasing her. My reply from memory was, in Australia I have every legal right to chase and pursue unpaid debt(s). But if you honestly believe I’m harassing you, call the police.
She never responded. And, the cops didn’t knock on my door, either

It sucks BIG time, hey!
Especially since it’s been proved beyond doubt CR with the help of RA is scr#wing affiliates blind with their in-house cross marketing and other highly unethical actions. Pilfering tagged players away from the affiliates who brought them through the door to begin with. Can’t get much more targeted players, than those already signed up. In which case Casino Rewards Group is paying a BIG fat $0 for ever player they steal.

That would take money out of the event organizers hand – cant have that! Same reason why the CAPS, GPWAs etc feature slum groups on their sites – they don’t care about much other than the money that’s going into their pockets. So what some groups screw over some affiliates – as long as they pay their listing fee they can proudly wave their banner like they are one of the best around.

Seems to me mate, our belief in affiliate forums placing its members above making a buck, while also holding the best interests of affiliates first and foremost, is akin to expecting a simpleton to know algebra or a donkey to play the flute!

Then you must be a very very fortunate guy who’s players base has not been hit by their internal (untagged) cross promotion efforts or by other means

If you don’t trust a group and think/know your players are going to be untagged why are you promoting them? Is that just putting your hand in the fire and wanting it to get burned?

From what I have heard, yes. Multiple audits, at different times through different sources.
Passed each one.
