A couple of questions regarding the hotel as pretty much I want to go to Cancun but I dont want to stay there.

    1. Can people not staying at the hotel walk around in the grounds/pool area or do you need some sort of bracelet to get in?

    2. Can people who are not staying there just pay for drinks and stuff or can only people who are staying there get drinks.

I’m having a hard time justifying the cost to myself (nearly $300 a night) when I can get a 4 or 5 star nearby for less than half of that.

I personally think it is a great price but if this hotel books out they will have to let you stay elsewhere and still be on this resorts premises I would think so why should it be an issue if your staying at another place. In the Bahamas I think they made a deal like this because there were several people that stayed in other hotels but came to the Atlantis everyday.

Ah, Antoine…if you’d just start drinking, you’d find that $300 a night is a bargain!

I guess that’s the problem when a person only drinks water you end up paying $100 for all inclusive water lol.

Regardless I booked the trip at that hotel and will be going to Cap Spring Break after all.

I just wanted to make sure that all your questions are being answered regarding the hotel and other queries. Below is a list of questions I have found on this thread and there appropriate answers.

Is there a dining dress code?
The Paradisus Riviera Cancun resort reminds guests that a dress code applies for all restaurants. For indoor restaurants, gentlemen are asked to wear pants, shirt and closed shoes; ladies are asked to dress for dinner, no jeans please. For our outdoor venues, tops must be worn at all times and bare feet are not allowed.

Will I be allowed to visit the resort if I am staying elsewhere?
You will be allowed onto the premises pending day fee of $50. Unfortunately this does not allow you to enjoy the inclusive deals that residents can take advantage of. If possible I would advise booking a room at the event hotel. Please note that normal rates for this hotel start at $600 during this time of year.

How do I pay for drinks if I am not booked into the hotel?
As a day guest at the Paradisus Riviera you will be given a tab in order to pay for your food and drink enabling you to enjoy the day and settle your tab before you leave.

Am I able to still join in activities if I arrive too late at meeting points?
If for any reason you are unable to join us at the meeting point before activities commence, details will be left with the hotel reception. Please be sure to have your wristband handy to avoid any exclusion or misunderstandings.

Can I bring my family with me?
The Paradisus Riviera is a family friendly resort and the staff team has taken great steps to ensure that all guests of all ages have the right facilities to accommodate their stay. However in order to make all residents happy their will be a few adult only areas located around the hotel.

Are there Royal Suites available for the Spring Break event?
These suites are available to all guest so in order to avoid disappointment please book as early as possible, details to do this can be found on the hotel and travel page: http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/events/springbreak/hotel-and-travel/

    Will the pool be heated?
The beautiful pool at Paradisus Riviera is only heated during cold weather periods. March is estimated to be a steamer so they do not intend to heat the pool. However this in no way means that the water will be freezing cold.

Will there be parties in Cancun as the hotel is a little south?
There will be trips out in the evenings organised during the week all details will be given on the website shortly and updates will be posted on the forums

Please let me know if you have any further question and will have the answers posted up post haste.

I will be posting a schedule for the SB week shortly. All updates and new info will also be posted later but be sure to check the website for more details.

Think it all depends on what you are fishing after, and in what waters you snorkelling in:tongue:
