meemeeMemberGrow some balls people, with average lows of 22c in March the pool water will be fine, if it’s that cold you can always use the old tried and tested way of warming it up…

vladcizsolMemberI am booked too and cant wait. Guys if you have never been to a CAP Spring Break Event you cant imagine how much fun they are and how productive they are business wise. The parties exceed anything we do at the Conferences and everyone always says they are our best events of the year. Forget seaweed or hot pools. You will be fully occupied 24 hrs a day and Cacun is a world class resort area with a nightlife that few cities can match.
Christine the Tequila is on me!
Ole!

winchrisMemberHi Guys,
The beautiful pool at Paradisus Riviera is only heated during cold weather periods. March is estmated to be a steamer so they do not intend to heat the pool. However this in no way means that the water will be freezing cold. The hotel manager is somewhat worried that the atmosphere coupled with a heated pool may cause unforeseen heat stroke for guests and does not wish to take the chance and damage the health of any of his visitors. Please be sure that the staff at this hotel are some of the best and will adhere to any of your requests as best they can.
The Paradisus Riviera have taken all your comments on board and are eager to please everyone attending CAP Spring Break. The ball has begun rolling to add more activities to your weeks schedule and a brief outline will be posted shortly.
For now I am going shopping for the perfect wordrobe for the best ever CAP Spring Break to come, and will be sure to be in touch soon with an update.February 13, 2009 at 4:05 pm #795275Anonymous

InactiveI forgot to ask if we’ll have parties actually in Cancun since the hotel is a little bit south? I really want to go to Senor Frog’s and Coco Bongo’s, at least! Those are on the main hotel strip in Cancun though, I believe.

InactiveCouple of things – Sponsors are begining to poke their heads out of the wood work so should have some announcments soon
AND
Please make sure you book your rooms – As you can imagine it is a very busy time in CanCun and the hotel will sell out so if you are going book ASAP otherwise you may not be in the same resort which will bne rubbish for you – I have spoken to a lot of people who are going and have sorted their flight but not the hotel so if you are one of them sort it

InactiveA couple of questions regarding the hotel as pretty much I want to go to Cancun but I dont want to stay there.
1. Can people not staying at the hotel walk around in the grounds/pool area or do you need some sort of bracelet to get in?
2. Can people who are not staying there just pay for drinks and stuff or can only people who are staying there get drinks.
I’m having a hard time justifying the cost to myself (nearly $300 a night) when I can get a 4 or 5 star nearby for less than half of that.
