InactiveI saw Megadeath way back, they opened for Judas Priest, and Anthrax played first. Was an awsome show all the way around.
I’m staying just off the strip at some little place called Palace Station. Supposed to have very soft poker tables

The casino host is comping me for previous play the past 2 times I have stayed there. I do know that the casinos can pull your play from other casinos and based on that they will at least give you a discount on their rooms. I would suggest that anyone that play much call the casino resorts directly to see what they can do for you. You can usually get a better rate than booking online at Orbitz or similiar. We play alot when in Vegas so the casinos love me. Ha Ha Ha:cheers:
Paris is comping me a room based on my play at their other properties. So it doesn’t matter whether the play is in Vegas, Atl City or other venues around the country. I play in Tunica regularly, and where they have three properties.
If my chemo treatments are scheduled properly, I should be there this year. I’m trying to make it happen. :clapper:

InactiveYes…Megadeath sounds cool.
But do we all remember the famous “MONSTERS OF ROCK” metal concert in the late 1980’s?
I remember Scorpion and Metallica were playing. Can’t remember the others. It started at noon and ended after midnight.

vladcizsolMemberYeah Marie is madder then a wet hen. We were REALLY looking forward to Vegas too. But I was told this morning that one of the Sponsors had been tipped off by the Sheriffs department in Las Vegas that as many as 400 arrests are planned and I just dont want to take a ride on THAT bus if I can avoid it…
🙁 🙁 🙁

vladcizsolMemberYep its true Damian and this sponsor had a TON of money invested in the event, I believe they were told this by their people in Las Vegas or they would not have pulled out.
I promised myself I wasnt going to get started on the political side of this, but it just aint right!

InactiveAny idea what type of arrests? Affiliates or just affiliate programs? I’m not keen on being arrested myself.
September 8, 2006 at 6:17 pm #705135
vladcizsolMemberThey didnt specify. What I heard was: “The event planners in Las Vegas that were working with a Major Sponsor had been tipped off by people they knew inside the Las Vegas Sheriff department that as many as 400 arrests are planned at the event”
Like I said, this particular group told us they had invested over $70,000 in this event in Las Vegas and if they decided they were willing to write that off and not attend they must have felt strongly that the information given them was accurate.
