InactiveIf I go this year I am going to stay at that cheap piece of crap right next to Harrahs. I stayed at Harrahs last time and really liked it ALOT but I am not on that high roller bank roll these days so I liked the Imperial Palace the last day I stayed in Vegas. Yeh, it was a bit on the “cheesy” side but I am kinda a hick deep deep down inside hahaha after all I do live in a town they call “Springtucky” !
Why did my parents ever move me away from FLORIDA!
Ok a bit off the subject.. But you can get a LUV TUB room for about 120 a night!.. wonder what that looks like. :wink-wink

InactiveHey Captain!
I have been ask to speak on the art of drinking massive quantities of beer while building websites. I feel honored to say the least.
When would you ever find time to do this? I need some lessons…:rasta:
Yes the Miami Cap’s first spring break was a very good time, we met the very finest people in the business. I will never forget that trip.:bath:

InactiveHow long is everyone staying in Vegas?
The CAC website says that the event is Sept. 14 and 15 (Thursday and Friday). However, I see some “social” events planned as early as Sept. 13 and as late as Sept. 17.
Wondering how long I should plan on sticking around….

InactiveI booked my room at Stardust as this is where I thought all of you are going to be… but now…:Ohno: .. Thanks to Captain…
I’m not sure anymore…I’m in the MGM now, it’s a great hotel too, always was for me, I’m sure everyone has a manager/host they know in at least one of Vegas casinos so for me is MGM.. but I’m moving to Wynn for the Bodog conference (if it’ll happen, so far it’s canceled:flush: ) I can tell you how it is when I’m there…
if everyone are going to different hotels anyway, I may as well choose hotel I like.. :rasta: looking forward to see you all there… MissM :highflyer

InactiveI love the Wynn too, nice rooms and I have a smashing view here.
But it is also lots of fun to do Hotel hopping in Vegas. Each has a different ambience and feel, and to me, it’s not about the most posh room but about fun and entertainment.
Vegas Hotels are like little countries onto themselves, and it’s great fun exploring them all.

vladcizsolMemberOk I just booked our airline tickets for Vegas. We are arriving on the 10th and heading back to Otown on the 18th. Booked my Limo too.
Now once the casino host from the Wynn gets back to me I will be locked in for CAC in September!

InactiveWhere do you book online for the Wynn anyone? The best rate I can find so far is $410 a night (average) over 4 days which sounds quite a lot…though cheaper than the hotels actual website – lol. Any suggestions?
The Mandalay at $230 per night looks a good deal being a 5*…or Bally’s at $207 which is a lot closer to the Stardust I guess…thoughts?
Cheers
Simmo!

InactiveI am staying at the Stardust. I know I would not be happy grabbing taxies back and forth all day, and I like to go up to my room off and on.
Too hot to walk during the day, too.
I finally booked my flight last night and this time booked a limo with it, from the airport to the hotel.
I’ve had trouble grabbing a cab from the airport often enough, and you melt in that heat.
Last of the old fashioned Hotels, the Stardust. Soon will be dust.
