Sports bettors in a number of different regions in Spain will soon be placing their bets with Bwin after they’ve just signed an agreement with Gup Solplay.
All the sports betting activity will take place on over 500 betting terminals located at land based operations under Bwin’s Winners Apuestas brand name in addition to 30 “corners” or in game rooms and four bookies.
To start, the first 10 outlets will launch in Valencia and then eventually extend their reach to Galicia, Murcia, the Canary Islands and Catalonia. It’s no secret that Bwin does takes this market seriously as 4% of their revenue comes from Spain, as it’s brand presence can be seen at major sporting events.
The Real Madrid ongoing sponsorship deal with Real Madrid has them all over their uniforms and other promotional materials. Now the Bwin brand name expands beyond online, teams and into the land based shops.
