I think that most affiliates agree… What’s your BIGGEST SEO Nightmare? Checking your rankings and seeing a HUGE drop. It’s like a blow to the gut.

Especially with Google’s Recent Algorithm Update that has heavily effected some of iGaming’s top affiliate, we wanted to share a closer look at how you can Identify Search Engine Penalties and steps to go about resolving them:

Great write-ups but I still wished there were tools out there that would do some of the checking for us.

allfreechips and I were just discussing how to figure out if you have inbound links that are hurting your website. I haven’t been able to find any tools that would do the work.

Also, take a small site say 50-100 uniques per day. Unless the site is totally deindexed the webmaster may not know anything is wrong for a couple of weeks.

Not about google ranks, but in alexa I noticed since made some new changes to my site jumped from 4 mill something to 3 mill in alexa rank not bad for only 3 weeks website operational., must have done something right lol I only have a couple inbound links to. I hope to get my site under 100 thousand in alexa is my aim
then should corrispond to google. hopefully

If you have the tooldbar and work on your site it jumps way up lol, when I had the tooldbar my rank was great then after i removed it it dropped a lot, so I dont put much into the rankings there at all.

I was looking into our Google Webmaster Tools and noticed this site as a 404:

agenda.ro/flashnewspaper/newspaper.php?p=world-series-2010-baseball-playoff

After looking into the links a little more they seem to be Romania. Anyone else having this issue or in the past?

Still though high alexa rank must corrispond with google still and help with seo – traffic?
also noticed all free chips your sites in the 300 k mark nice one:clapper:

i have checked my 404’s a few times in GWT for one of my main sites and have found broken incoming links, when i follow them i have found a page with a malware/trojan/virus on it, someone may have something against me, or is this something that happens ot everyone?
