How many unique visitors did you get to your new site?

I am on Day 4 of my site and got 511 uniques since Tuesday.I officially opened on Tuesday Oct. 24th,06 and got 40 the first day.Do you think that is amazing?

The last day, I had MUSHROOMED to 252 uniques! <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

No, no real FRIENDS know much about this, these were UNIQUES from ALL OVER the world! So no, no circle of friends did this, believe me!

Friends going to my site is NOT an explanation for all the traffic. :nono:

Reason? I backlinked and reciprocated links with a few directories. Beats me how they found me so quickly! :hmmm:

Today as of this post is Sunday Eeaarrrly Morning and the stats at my server have not yet updated for today,s stats, or shall I say, yesterday,s stats.I am in one time zone and the server is in a later time zone, so i wont know till ater today.

So how good was your first day at your site?

500+ uniques in a week with no conversions. Sounds like fraudulent traffic from a PPC or something. Assuming you have a brand new domain with just a few links from directory sites, you aren’t likely to be driving this sort of traffic. PPC seems like the only reasonable explanation and as we all know PPC for online gambling is 99% bogus.

I agree. This can’t be natural traffic.

Took me more than 4 days to get indexed nevermind someone finding my site. Hell after six months, even I can’t find my site.
