View Source Help Requested

pokermonger asked 3 years ago
I have managed to do something over the last year to my computer that won’t let me view source on web pages, ie. look at the code. I click on view source and the page just sits there, nothing. Anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this or what programs may cause this problem?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Assume that you’re using MS Explorer and Windows XP.

It’s a problem with full interenet cache.

At any browser window.

Choose Tools :: Internet Options from your menu.
Then in the Temporary files section choose the Delete Files button.

It will start deleting old files and within about 5-10 seconds you’ll have room to start viewing source again.

(it may keep deleting for a minute or so).

Gl mate.

It took me about 3 hours to work that fix out when it first happened to me. I went nuts restarting the machine (etc).

Pleased to have helped.
