Thin White Line

ixian asked 3 years ago
I’m busy building a new site using css. I’m a bit of a newbie at this as I always have used tables previously with an external css style sheet.

When I insert my image logo into my header row I get a thin white line around it. Changing the image file format does not help. I have also set the css border rule to zero for the header, this also does not help.

Any help will be appreciated. <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

Does help if you use RGB colour format. :chearlead:chearlead:chearlead:chearlead:chearlead :whipper”

If you use FireFox, this is the problem.

I recently did the same and everytime I look in FF I see white lines for my table and when looking with IE everything is normal as it should be. I’m still figuring out why this is happening in FF.

If I use a css the table border is correct, however TR and TD are white or grey (hard to see) in FF.

If anybody can explain this, I would appreciate this very much.

As stated in my reply to myself are you using RGB format? CMYK format may create those white lines I was talking about. Also you should deselect anti-alias when creating the file. <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />
PS. I mainly use Firefox.
