Thanks for the heads up.

A WebmasterWorld thread from early May is showing a PR5 on some datacenters, so it does look like a legitimate update is spreading slowly across datacenters.

Stayed the same at most of our sites but the best part is we have several back pages with a pr now :hattip:

It’s so sad that we must care what one large company is doing!

It’s sad that anyone even cares about PR anymore. We have PR scores showing zero on pages that are ranking top 10 for competitive gambling terms. That should tell you how important PR really is. There are much better metrics out there for determining a websites quality, but I guess PR is the quick and dirty way to go.

It’s terrible
My PR 0>2>1>0

please please please ignore that little green bar. The only stat that matters is the one you get from your bank manager!

Is anyone seeing a change in traffic or serps from this last algo shuffle?

JasonD answered 3 years ago
I’ve definately seen a change in rankings since the algo (not pagerank) update.

A definate turning up of the domain status knob and a likely turning down of the same anchor text knob!

BobRains answered 3 years ago
I think what we are talking about here is an algo, not a PR update, the PR update was all wrapped up last week.

I’m also noticing some change in weighting of anchor text.
