Poll: Are you still promoting 888.com

Fergie asked 3 years ago
In response the the thread here, http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/showthread.php?t=11269&page=3 , and the question of “calling to arms”, I thought it would be prudent to get some annonymous opinions, as I know many are not willing to be public when it comes to these things.

I never actually promoted them myself, but it’s a very interesting story. An important one, too.

A lot of work has gone into this very question. I have put all my chips in on this one and only touched the tip of the iceberg. I would stay far and clear of 888.com for the time being. There is always hope!, I personally would never promote this program.

I thank CAP very much for letting everybody to express their views. It demonstrates a good model to follow, seldomly seen on other forums. Perhaps this is the reason CAP is my favorite place to be. A shot of ouzo for CAP!! greek39

Here is one of the main threads from the 888 forum for anyone who is clueless of what we’re talking about or if they need more clarification on this topic, it is highly recommended that any new affiliates or affiliates that are unfamiliar with this issue to read this forum: http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/showthread.php?t=10490

Thanks, Ryan

they’re obvious skunks. I don’t buy any of their “i didn’t know” BS for a minute.

either one of two things is happening with them. the second much less likely.

either the people in charge know what’s going on (most likely)

or they’ve become so wealthy they truly don’t know what’s going on under them. someone, I believe it was Greek, (nice job btw on your scraping work): said one of the owners was worth like $550 million.

Well you’re not going to touch that with anything we affiliates could do …. short of an effort put forth by a mass number of affs to blacklist the casino. Which if they keep up as I well suspect they will; I find no qualms about blacklisting them for “unethical practices”.

a couple month’s of the financial impact our blacklisting would cause; would be enough to turn the head of the people in charge regardless of whether they don’t know by choice or neglect.

I think they will run into serious problems with this whole issue if the media picks it up.
Public companies go out of their way to build huge corporate social responsibility programs and here is one that has a big, ugly skeleton in their closet waiting to be discovered (probably more than one skeleton actuallysneaky.gif )

I am currently #1 in google for “blacklisted casinos” and sometime next week my patience will run out and I will list 888 on top.

I also think players and investors should be made aware of this.

Black listing 888.com is a good idea until things get straighten out. I would gather up some players complaints along with webmasters complaints. Lots of players complaints can be found on Alexa. Plus lots of complaints about spyware and malware some players receive from 888.com.

I would encourage more people to take part in this very important poll. greek39
