PageRank Export/Update is Underway

VPGenius asked 3 years ago
The PageRank export or update, whatever you want to call it, has begun.

My web site went live in early August, and today on 11 datacenters my pagerank is showing 1/10 as opposed to N/A.

No extra PR on my homepage but a lot of my internal pages now have PR, thought the update was never gonna happen.

It looks like a lot of gambling sites went down in pr.. only new sites have gotten some higher ratings..

Anybody else agree on this with me? I’ve had two sites drop 1 in pr and one stayed at pr2, but was expected to climb up.. <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />(

Also any thoughts on iwebtool(.com) they have a pr prediction tool and I though they had a good view on what pr would become.. but this time they’re off by 3 pr’s.. Anybody else used this tool, any experiences?

I think google made some major changes in how they calculate PR. I expected my gambling site to get PR4 and got a 1. I have a gaming news site with over 10k back links and expected at least a pr5 but only got a pr3. I think they are probably devaluing certain types of links though I don’t know which ones. I know there are a lot of pissed of people that were spending a lot of money buying links for many months and now most of them aren’t worth crap.
