How was July for you? Did you have the summer duldrums?

From my end conversions were not so great probably in the first week or 2 so interesting to see affiliates have noticed the same from their programs. July started weak but finished strong.

July started badly with one player winning on an almost daily basis, but luckily they then gambled most of it back in and eventually went away.

Since then I had a great second half of July, with almost daily signups, and sometimes multiple daily signups. With no significant winners

My month started really well, breaking records for the entire month by the 10th, but then after that very little.

I’ve noticed a few (authority / dmoz-listed) sites putting up more banners recently and some sites that previously had no banners at all starting to put them on their sites. I wonder if this is reflecting slightly tougher times?

Averaged 1 depositing player per 500 unique click throug’s (traffic sent to the casinos) for my best converting casinos in July. In my opinion this is horrible.

My traffic is 70+ % USA and I don’t think this is helping matters at all. For anyone that’s been in this business as long or longer than I have then you must surely see that things are much tougher than it use to be.

I’m not about to give up as I love the industry and more importantly the people and am hoping that whatever factors are causing my earnings to slip are corrected at some point.

The answer depends on a lot of parameters such as your average, your industry (poker, casino, bingo, sports etc), the demographics of your users and more.

I will go with above average

I had a slightly above average month for July. Last month was better for me.

The first week started out fairly strong but then the middle two weeks died, the last picked up a little. Had a 39K winner wipe out 4 figures in deposits on the best performing program this month.

Overall compared to the last 3 months commissions down 50% but way up from last July. Amazing CR didn’t have any wagering since July 23’rd except for 18 cents today, hard to believe, however their first week was stong enough to earn a small commission.

My site was originally a land casino site and there are still some pages for land slots on it, generally this time of year the searches for specific land slots increases and this is reflected in both the Statscounter stats and the Google Webmaster tools stats.
