Yesterday there was a minor PR update by Google. Many of the new websites got a PR boost and Old ones gone down a little. Prediction says that its was minor update and the major update is going to be in June mid or first week.

I was hoping we would get upgraded to at least PR2 which we had on our old domain. Still 0 <span title=” title=”” class=”bbcode_smiley” />

On my non-gaming site that went from #1 to #155, the pr3 remains at 3.
So, today I 301 redirected the site to another completely different domain name.

It helps me only in one of 3 my non gambling websites, so I can’t approve that this way is 100% effective. But nevertheless in one of domains it helped…

Yep (and penalties too)

Next week I’ll let it go back to normal and see if it was a penalty and if it goes away.

(read that somewhere)
( XXX <- fingers crossed)

Agreed with v777 . There are so many update these days by Google like caffeine, panda, penguin etc . But if you just get deep into the study then you will find that nothing was updated .It was just an intimation to all old same quality parameters that is now to be followed strictly. Buying links also have a good parameters . before buying you can also do little home work with the sites like, the sites Domain authority, Page rank, cached URL, Index pages, Listed in search engines, unique content etc . These parameters are all the same old ones . What you have to do in new is just to again follow quite strictly.

If you don’t mind my asking, what methods do you use (that apparently work)

– personal contact
– automated software onsite
– others_____

I’m testing out link assistant (don’t much care for the automated onsite list creation – looks too networky ‘link directory’), but I could use it to keep track of those ‘contacts’ and exchange links

I don’t use any kind of software.
I built a high quality websites with not-spammed texts. In few web sites I didn’t use H2-H3 tags and my websites (befor Penguin and Coffein) got high ranks in Google.ru in veru competitive keywords. After new filters arrived to Russia, my positions didn’t fall.

I make some on site optimisation with page linking. From all pages I got 3+ links to the main page with 2 anchors like “here”, and one with keyword that I pushed in SE.

Also I bought links from different countries. Cause I dont relly on theory when I must buy links from that region, in wich I want to increase my positions. I mean that for Google.ru I bought links with .de, .pl, .com.ua (mostly), .by domain zone.
Also I bought a lot of high ranked Twitter links, and a huge mass of links from different russian blogsystems like Narod.ru, Liveinternet.ru

In such way I bring one russian betting company to the first positions, that I worked with like a freelancer SEO executive.

Sorry for bad english)
Hope, you will get answers.
